New types of membranes for electrolyzer hydrogen - oxygen
Hýbl, Jiří ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Kunovjánek, Miroslav (advisor)
This work deals with the production of hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis. Aims of this thesis are to measure different types of membranes and choose the best for use in elektrolyzer for hydrogen and oxygen production. Properties of membranes were tested in the laboratory electrolyzer in the short and long operation. The emerging gases from elektrolyzer were also tested on a gas chromatograph to determine the purity of produced hydrogen. At the same time are also tested different concentrations of KOH elektrolyte and the effect of concentrations on efficiency of electrolyzer.
Electrolytes based on sulfolan and similar solvents
Máca, Josef ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
Submitted thesis deal with study of aprotic electrolytes in order to increase the safety for use in lithno – ionts accumulators. Increase of safety is specified by measuring the flash point of each electrolytes, at the same time are evaluated also other parameters important for use in accumulators. For determine the window of temperatures where the electrolytes can work is measured by melting point. The melting point is measured by cryoscopy. From electrical properties is measured specific conductivity of the electrolyte.
Biodegradable metal materials for bone tissue prosthetics
Panáková, Olga ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This paper is focused on use of metal materials as a bone replacement. For coherence of this text is necessary theoretical preamble which is consisting of describing metal properties, aimed particularly at corrosion, valuation methods of disposition to corrosion and mainly corrosion itself. This paper also includes description of techniques of preparation, which involves selection of material and its procession. Furthermore there are stated results of experiments. Those are amended with pictures.
Liquid electrolytes for lithium-ion accumulators
Štichová, Zuzana ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis was the measurement of electrical conductivity and dynamic viscosity of the electrolytes. Based on these measurements to verify Walden theorem between measured variables. Electrolytes were used on sulfolane base in combination with propylene carbonate and salt. The thesis also deals with the measuring method of dielectric properties of electrical and optical method with a refractometer. The freezing point of combination of sulfolan and propylene carbonate were determined by cryoscopy.
Biodegradable bone implants
Galanová, Zuzana ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on producing orthopaedic implant materials and measuring their corrosion properties. It describes the bone and its structure, types, bone ossification and healing. It defines functions of orthopaedic implants and mentions the types of implants – biodegradable and non-biodegradable. The thesis interprets what corrosion is, what categories of corrosion exist and how does the corrosion influence orthopaedic implants. Preparing the solution of stimulated body fluid and manufacturing samples of different metal combinations (of iron, manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, silver and zinc) is included in this thesis, together with corrosion measurements, microscopic observations, EDAX analysis, metallographic analysis, microhardness testing of samples and pH changes measurements of solutions, and the results are interpreted and explained.
Development of negative electrodes for lithium-ions batteries
Drahokoupil, Petr ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This thesis deals with lithiation of negative electrode li-ion batteries. In this thesis is used several electrode materials: carbon, FeCl3, lithiated carbon electrodes and silicon carbide. Reduction of irreversible capacity lithium-ion batteries leads to increased capacity and also we can use new materials as a positive electrode. Thesis deals with the differences in the properties of materials using lithiation and their use in practice
Preparation of Thin Films by Electrochemical Methods
Kaválek, Ondřej ; Studničková, Marie (referee) ; Janderka, Pavel (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The doctoral theses deal with electrochemical deposition of lead, tin, silicon and germanium from aprotic electrolytes in anhydrous inert atmosphere. Deposited layers are studied from the perspective of their surface and of electrochemical characteristics.
Liquid aprotic electrolytes with TiO2 a Al2O3 nanoparticles
Tomeš, Petr ; Krejza, Ondřej (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The first part of this diploma thesis is dealing with conductivity of liquid electrolytes. The second part is about third generation gel electrolytes and thein conductivity. The electrolytes were inorganic salts LiClO4, LiBF4 and NaClO4 in an aprotic propylene carbonate (PC) -used as a solvent. Nanosized Al2O3 and TiO2 particles were, proportionally to the sample's volume, added to the both – blend and gel samples in an amount expressed by weight percentage (wt). Both liquid and gel electrolytes contained following amount on nanosorbent: 3,46% wt, 7,17% wt, 10,0% wt and 12,0% wt. The liquid electrolytes were gelled using commercially available precursor Superacryl (Spofa dental s.r.o.).
Electrodeposition of thin layers TiO2
Jakubis, Ivan ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with issues of electrochromism and making active electrochromic film of titanium dioxide. By using various precursors consisting titanium element active film was electrodeposited on glass substrates covered with transparent conductive thin-film In2O3:Sn (ITO). Electrochromic characteristics of these substrates that were electrodeposited for different times and with different voltage have been studied. Than there has been studied the impact of various annealing temperatures on electrochromic characteristics.
Materials for biodegradable bones based on Fe
Hrabovský, Jan ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The thesis deals with biodegradable bone implants which must have good mechanical properties and also good compatibility with the human body. The thesis contains literary research in the area of bone physiology, biogenic materials and implants for the human body. The thesis focues on the selection of suitable materials for biogenic implants. It is also described the preparation of iron powder mixtures and application onto selected materials. The selected samples were subjected to thermal analysis.
