The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to perform an analysis of structural cabling in the building of the Faculty of Music, Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, and to propose an improvement of mentioned cabling system to achieve current industry standards of stability & reliability. Both horizontal cabling routes and physical network topology are taken into account; network hardware recommendation with its setting is also included, although mentioned newly purchased equipment is not strictly required. In the conclusion, the thesis deals with an economic evaluation of the proposed solution as a major decision-making factor for the chosen public institution.
Proposal for the introduction of security measures for the company

This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of security measures within a selected company. The aim of the work is to create a proposal for measures against possible security threats. The first chapter deals with a general introduction to the issue, describes and defines the concepts from a theoretical point of view. The second part deals with the description of the current state and analysis of selected areas of the company. At the end of this work, we focus on raising awareness of security threats and proposing measures that contribute to increasing the security of information.
Penetration testing of ANC

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of a security solution that was recently deployed by a British company renting office space. This validation system is based on a database of MAC addresses, a database of clients and active filtering of connected devices. The first part explains the concepts of computer network, VLAN and basic concepts needed to understand the function of dynamic assignment of VLAN and IP addresses. The second part is devoted to measurements based on hypotheses, according to which measures are proposed in the last part to solve these security problems.
Draft Recovery Plan for the infrastructure of the Faculty of Business and Management

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of a “Disaster Recovery Plan” for the Informatics department at BUT’s Faculty of Business and Management. The first part consists of theoretical basis of crucial parts of disaster recovery plan, which is the very foundation for the proposal itself. The second part follows up with a description of the server room of the Informatics department, in particular its IT equipment. The third part deals with the very disaster recovery plan proposal which will function as a school code regulation and a foundation for a Business Continuity Management System document.

This diploma thesis is focused on Security Awareness Education at the Faculty of Business and Management. It consists of three main parts: theoretical, analytical and practical considerations. The theoretical part is the introduction to basic terms, processes and analysis to help understand the thesis. The analytical part includes an introduction to the chosen organization and the implementation of analysis, which were presented in the theoretical part. The practical part contains, among other things, the actual proposals for Security Awareness Education at the faculty and its benefits.
Creating a help desk SW tool for cyber security management

The diploma thesis is focused on the creation of a helpdesk design for ESKO software. This ESKO software was developed by ISIT Slovakia s.r.o. The helpdesk will be represented by several software. Some are used to create diagrams and represent workflows, others for graphic editing. The helpdesk will be created based on the current needs of the company and then delivered to it as the final product. The main goal is to extend the functionality of an existing website and add to this website and the proposed helpdesk. The bonus will be a query library, which should work on the principle of an SQL database.
Design of an audit system for the control of systems and services in a computer network.

This diploma thesis deals with the design of an audit system with which it will be possible to detect security gaps in a computer network. Detection will take place on the basis of checking predefined ports and services running on them. Based on the output of the audit system, possible measures and rules necessary to correct security gaps will be proposed. The system itself will be designed to ensure its easy implementation for any customer.
Game server security design

This master thesis focus on game server security which is connected directly to the internet. Based on current security and scanning the server with penetration testing tools, I designed complete methodology for fixing security issues and vulnerabilities.
