Experiencing places in the native village

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the topic of space and experiencing by means of creative processes using mostly painting technique. It is based on works of theorists and philosophers of Norberg-Schluz or Václav Cílek who are interested in these topics over a long period. The thesis is focused on relationships with places in the village where the author lives. In the first part, the author describes theoretical backgrounds of the work and integrates them to the context of contemporary Czech as well as foreign artists. In the second part, the work deals with the places in the village the author lives called Sebranice. She is close to that place and she reflects the specific atmosphere of the village by means of her paintings and their reflections. The third, didactic part contains projects (their realization and reflexion) which are based on her own theoretical and practical experience with pupils. The aim of the projects was development of sensitivity of perception and increasing interest of pupils in the places which surrounds them as well as art creation. The work examines the relationship between real space and imaged space, their visual appearance and interrelatedness. It solves the question of the world of subjective and objective, real and imaginary. It places human in the role of actor, creator and viewer who interacts with the space through artistic creation. It briefly describes the development of various artistic tendencies dealing with landscape creation in context of conjunction of around me and looks for examples from selected authorities of the art world from the past and present, which it compares with each other. The artistic part consists of a closed set of acrylic paintings depicting the personal world of the author, while each of them is given an individual meaning with reference to the narrative, time and space component. The paintings are further investigated and subjected to consideration that characterizes their creation and meaning. The didactic part of the work presents a proposal for an art assignment for high school students aged fifteen, describes possible procedures and prerequisites for its appropriate fulfillment, followed by examples of eventual outputs. Mountains of laundry

This bachelor thesis Mountains of Laundry aims to look into a three-way relationship among human, landscape and textile, their meanings and mutual influence. Individual chapters dedicated to the art of textile, to respecting traditions as a cultural heritage of the past and its persisting values for today's society, to the way a landscape influences human behaviour and to the actual art interpretation of Mountains of Laundry, they also attempt to depict my personal relationship to cloth. This thesis follows the phenomenon of the gradual return of a textile media into contemporary Czech art and through soft-material pieces of art of particular artists it seeks one specific denominator as well as various grasps of this field. Interviews with designer Tereza Rosalie Kladošová and artist Daniela Mikulášková reveal motivations of artists who work with textile media in applied arts as well as free arts, and they also refer to an issue of necessity to create borders between these two art forms. The way of grasping a tradition linked to a specific region or landscape refers to personal experience in the practical part. Methods of excitation of binders based on anhydrite

The bachelor thesis deals with the internal excitation of anhydrite-based mortars. In the theoretical part, the general theory of sulphate binders, the formation of gypsum binders and their resulting products during firing are described. The theoretical part also describes the anhydrite mortars, their hydration process and collects the existing research on anhydrite excitation in the world, where, among other things, it deals with the further usability of the resulting gypsum by-products. The experimental part focuses on the internal excitation of anhydrite, which is based on the existing research at the THD Institute. The work builds on previous studies that also dealt with internal excitation research. It includes an experiment performed to optimize the thermal regime in the form of increased isothermal endurance with subsequent evaluation by XRD analysis.
Paraphrase classical artwork - a didactic transformation and application of topics in art education

IN ENGLISH This thesis has the character of theoretical studies on the topic paraphrase a classic work of art and its subsequent didactic applications for that grade school. It solves the problems of paraphrasing in the visual arts. It characterizes the aspects related to the topic, such as analysis and structure of a work of art. It focuses on the theory of shape as the basic building blocks of artwork and associated topics, which are: quotes, interpretation, image transformations and alterations. Art work is a continuation of a previous bachelor thesis, which dealt with the issue of land. It deals with the transformation of the original image resulting from the help of manipulation of individual shapes in the image, replacing the existing design to a new one. They are created in the form of the photographs from the area of pre-defined landscape Didactic section applies subject paraphrase the selected school and verifies and theoretical knowledge in practice. It depicts the topic paraphrase as a whole. The objective is to try and understand the basic principles that apply to paraphrase.
Courious World. Possibilities of application of the theme in pedagogic practise

Forman, D .: Curious World. Possibilities of applicatiom of the theme in pedagogic practise. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2015 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts, 79 p. (Attachments 7 artistic realizations - oil paintings small and medium size) The thesis is based on a comprehensive comparsion of major interpretation avant-garde art and the modernist thinking, which determined crucially interpretation of the most important events in the art history of 20th century. This work brings together three major confrontations looks at the intentions of selected representatives of avant-garde art and focuses on problematic moment of "interruption" the progression of the avant-garde by socialist realism. Three positions are views of art theorists Clement Greenberg, Theodor Adorno and Boris Groys. Didactic part of this thesis is realized by art education series, which is inspidated by this topic. It focuses on understanding the most basic principles of geometric abstraction, constructivism and abstract expressionism by students. Chocholáčová, D.: Mask - Face - Facial expression. Theme utilization in pedagogical practice. /Diploma thesis/ Prague 2014 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, department of art education,83 p. Diploma thesis is oriented as a theoretical study and research of mask in prezent form with context of history. In this work mask is understanded as a communication between whole world and one person, when the individuality of person meets uniformity of mass. It deals with phenomenom of masking as a everyday manifestation human being identify with social group with specific culture tradition. Mask contemplates between ritual and fun, by probe of traditions, ceremonials, rituals and carnivals, but also probe of contemporary theatre or art . Diploma thesis also thinks about present position of ritual. Goal of the work is specify everyday human being, his mask, face, facial expression, at the modern world. Pedagogical utilization offers implementation theme to space of nursery school and grammar school offer of topics, mostly realized and reflected. Part of work is together finding theme at preparation and realization gallery education for two exhibitions in Rudolfinum Gallery.

Kocúrová, Z.: The things we /do not/ need /Graduation Thesis/ Praha 2012 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education. Supervisor M. Sedlák. The aim of the graduation thesis is the relation of human and space in the context of philosophy, psychology, social history, art and education. The theoretical part is focused on open and closed space, on their relationship to basic human needs as safeness and solidarity. Individuals apply isolation and control to defeat their fears. The means of open architecture are connected with these issues as well. The second part of my work concentrates on my art projects inspired by the mentioned concepts. My installations, actions and cycle of photographs is described. The third part is focused on applications of these topics in the art teaching.
