Facebook and the positive relationships of children aged 15-19

This thesis deals with a subject of relationship between the usage of social site Facebook and the level of satisfaction in relationships with friends and acquitances among adolescents. The main survey question deals with a relationship between total time spent on Facebook and friendship satisfaction. The first partial question compares in detail the differences between the time spent on specific activities on Facebook and its relation to friendship satisfaction among adolescents. The second partial question divides Facebook activities to active and pasive and compares total times spent on each activities with measure of friendship satisfaction. Summary of literature is dealing with specifics of communication on the internet, importance of relationships in persons life and finally descripes social site Facebook and ways of using Facebook. At the end there is a proposal of quantative research, where two questionnaires should be used. The first qestionnaire measures the time spent on Facebook and is originally created by author and based on previous researches. Effective persuasion in restaurant services

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the psychological topic of persuasion and it brings findings from the theoretical background of the topic as well as a design of a practical application in the field of restaurant services. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of persuasion, ethical aspects and factors which appear in the proces of persuasion. The main stress is put on the presentation of these findings in the context of restaurant services; the studies are therefore presented on the example of a visit of an imaginary restaurant. The practical part of the thesis is focused on a design of a specific project. Intrapersonal Communication and Its Role in Attitude Change

This bachelor's thesis focuses on intrapersonal communication and its significance in the process of self-persuasion. In the first topic of the thesis, an essential overview of the two close concepts, intrapersonal communication and inner speech, is presented. Then the thesis describes forms and functions of intrapersonal communication with the emphasis on inner dialogue and introduces Dialogical Self Theory by Hubert Hermans. The other thesis's topic deals with attitude change through the processes of persuasion and self-persuasion, presents examples of self-persuasion models and puts it into the context of intrapersonal communication. The thesis hypothesises that intrapersonal communication, especially in the form of inner dialogue, may function as an instrument of self-persuasion and therefore inner dialogical activity may manifest in susceptibility to persuasion. The research project proposal outlines a possible way to explore the relationship between the concepts by using research methods. The proposed quantitative research measures a correlation between Inner Dialogical Activity Scale (IDAS) by Piotr Oleś and Susceptibility-to-Persuasion-II scale (StP-II) and explores a possible influence of personality traits according to NEO-PI-R inventory. This bachelor's thesis is focused on cyberstalking, its victims and offenders. The purpose of this thesis is mapping of this criminal offence from the psychological point of view and from the law point of view as well. First part is aimed on characterisation of stalking, its manifestation and history followed by cyberspace theme and its specifics. Introduction the manifestation of cyberstalking, the typical victims, offenders and the impact on victims is the main part of the thesis. Last part is focused on introduction of cyberstalking in the law. Proposal od practical part is focused on qualitative research into the behaviour of victims on the internet and impact of cyberstalking on victims.
Reflection of personality in humour on social networks

The work is dealing with humour on social networks, focusing on Facebook, and its relation to personality traits of the people who search for this humour. It classifies types of humour and examines whether there may be a correlation between these types of humour and personality traits and demographics. This work is trying to find a relationship between what the respondent is like and what type of humour he chooses to subscribe to. The concept of NEO-PI-R is used to determine personality traits. It also focuses on humour on social networks itself, it attempts to capture the basic elements of its development and to show the often repetitive patterns that appear in the humour on social networks as well as the events that have an impact on this phenomenon. In the last part of the work there is designed a research based on quantitative survey and qualitative analysis. In the qualitative part, all respondent's Facebook profiles would be analyzed using Big Data Analysis software, which should show what kinds of humour and how big amount of it the respondent follows. Then the respondent would fill the NEO-PI-R inventory, so that we could discover his or her personality traits. Specific psychological phenomena of online dating

This bachelor thesis is focused on the cyber-psychological topic of online dating. Through international research's articles are defined specific psychological phenomena such as self- presentation and self-reflection associated with creating a dating profile. Furthermore, other presented factors are preferences and psychological aspects of selecting a potential partner, establishing the first communication and some of the risky behaviour for example trolling, sexting, deceptive and criminal behaviour. The suggested design of a research replication study is based on American research by authors Jin and Martin (Jin & Martin, 2015). It focuses on perceptions and attitudes of college students to different types of profiles (conservative, open) and their fictitious owners.
Values in fairy tale movies

This thesis deals with values in fairy tale movies. Its aim is to explore the possibilities of tracking values in fairy tale movies, because fairy tales serve as an important source of values for a child in the process of socialization. The theoretical part presents basic concepts of values, approaches to film research from a psychological point of view and observes the importance of fairy tales for a child. These topics are connected by socialization of a child and the role of media in adopting of values. Original research consists of content analysis of selected sample of Czech and Czechoslovak fairy tale movies. Certain characteristics, on which we can think about the values expressed in selected movies, are described. The research results indicate a trend of decreasing amount of contained values in fairy tale movies over time. Qualitative analysis examines various tales and describes value characteristics of particular characters in selected movies. Diploma project represents a contribution to the psychology of media and embraces media research as an important part of the socialization process.
Conception of values in czech press after 1989

This diploma thesis focuses on conception of values in Czech dailies after 1989. Its main goal is to picture some trends and changes in the area of values in the last twenty years. Theoretical part of the paper describes different approaches to the research of values and related concepts. Due to the extent of topic, theories and reseaches of several scientific disciplines are used. Social constructivism represents the second pillar of theoretical background because of its exploration of the influence of media on society. The original research consists in the quantitative content analysis. Based on selected value theory, list of values is used as keywords for content analysis method. Results show some trends among observed periods in the last twenty years.
