Kinesiophobia, her predictors and consequences in selected chronic diseases - theoretical review

Title: Kinesiophobia, her predictors and consequences in selected chronic diseases - theoretical review Objectives: To review the issue of the occurrence of kinesophobia in various chronic diseases and to identify its predictors. Methods: The diploma thesis was prepared in the form of a literature search using electronic resources of the National Medical Library, the Central Physical Education Library and professional databases Pubmed, EBSCO, SCORPUS, Medline, Web of Science. The first half of the work summarized all the theoretical background and knowledge of kinesophobia and selected chronic diseases. The second half was focused on the processing of the issue of kinesophobia in selected chronic diseases and on the mapping of their predictors. Results: Based on the processing of available resources dealing with the issue of kinesophobia in selected chronic diseases, a comprehensive overview was created. In patients with chronic low back pain, high levels of kinesophobia were most often associated with chronic pain, functional impairment associated with the disease, obesity, low levels of education, and emotional states (anxiety, depression). Hodnocení mikroregionu Rýmařovsko z hlediska rozvoje regionu ve vazbě na rekreační využívání

First part of this diploma thesis informs the reader about the topic issues of the lands-cape, Czech border regions, countryside, rekreology and recreation, free time and tourism (Czech and foreign; urban and rural). This work presents in his next part to the reader complex analysis of the interest area and a list of the main attractions of the Rýmařovsko microregion which are from the author's point of view for local tourism and his further development the most important. Issues of the influence of tourism on the development of the chosen area in relation to the protection of nature and landscape were discussed by using a questionnaire survey which was filled in by the mayors of individual villages of the Rýmařovsko mikroregion. The specific landscape measure - Hledačka pod věží on the cadastral territory Nová Ves in the village Dolní Moravice - was designed on the basis of this questionnaire. The purpose of this measure is, due to the high recreational use of the area, the emergence of a new type of unpretentious but experience tourism. Technical and drawing documentation, indicative price calculations and possibilities of financing were prepared for this specific landscape measure. The diploma thesis does also not forget the opportunities for promotion including a leaflet design.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the landscape memory, concretely the rural landscape memory of the Jeseníky Mountains. This thesis is methodically processed as a review which is focused on the identification, comparison and evaluation of the time changes specifics of the selected rural space. This thesis presents characterization of the locality from the physical-geographical, ecological, regional, historical and cultural point of view. The comparative method is used to evaluate changes of landscape structures based on comparison of historical and present cartographical and photographical records. According to the results, the village Malá Morávka has since the Second World War changed primarily in landscape rating. It is a border area which was affected by the disintegration development. It does not come to bigger urbanization of the seat but the comparison of the photographical records shows that it comes to enlarging of the dispelted areas of green vegetation.

The effect of the dog-asissted activity in children disorders of psychological development during education

The goal of the thesis was to find out if dog´s presence and the targeted work of a child with a dog helps improve children´s attention to teaching and their results. The majority of academic literature shows that dog assisted therapy constitutes a clear benefit for children. However, the research on this topic is still in its infancy and the literature is still relatively limited.
The thesis deals with the interactions of a child and a dog, especially in the case of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), specific learning disorders (SPU), and autistic spectrum disorders (PAS). The general conclusion of the existing literature is that animal assisted therapy with the dog helps children with ADHD improve their fine motor skills, increases their attention, decreases aggressiveness, and helps to improve speech disorders. But it is not clear what the impact on other types of disorders is. This thesis first focuses on reviewing the existing literature and its main results that mostly confirm the positive influence of involving the dog in therapy by all observed disorders. The second part of the thesis deals with experimental verification of the hypothesis of a positive influence the dog´s presence and the targeted work of 8 children in the age of 7-9 years from a special school has on attention and behavior in the classroom. Four of the children were diagnosed with ADHD, two with SPU, and two with an autistic spectrum disorder. The experiment was carried out two times a week, and focused on observing the extent of children´s concentration on the given task, calming down, attention while solving the assignments, and reduction of negative physical contacts among observed subjects. The data collection took place during regular classes. Once in a week, the class was preceded by the animal assisted therapy with the dog, which formed the treatment group. The second session in the week was not preceded by any therapy to establish the control group for the experiment. The results verify our hypothesis by revealing the strengthening of the positive influence of teaching on the observed skills of the children. The positive influence of the dog is supported by the fact that the children achieved more success in its presence. However, further research on larger samples and children from other age categories is needed.

The plants recognition mobile application UI Specification

This thesis describes the design of an application for recognizing plants. The application will run on mobile platforms with Android OS. Part of the thesis is focused on creation of a database of meadow plants and creation of a paper prototype, which will verify the applicability of the designed user interface. The user takes a photo of the flower plant that he wants to recognize and the application looks up the given flower in the database. During photographing the application guides the user how to take the picture of the plant.
The first part of the thesis defines terms such as application, UI specification, Android, paper prototype and macro photography. It is focused mainly on taking photographs of plants under optimal conditions and proper camera settings. The second part includes UI specification, which consists of motivation, definition, goal definition, personification, use case, scenario, and of logical and graphical design.

The literature review is about a system of green infrastructure and describes possibilities of park designs in order to create relaxing places in the cities. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the proposal of a renewed park in Hradec Králové.The investigated area is located in the historical center near to Pospíšilova street in the Silesian Suburbs, where used to be a park. However, nowadays it is only a treelined space. This architectural study has been focused on the renewal of this historical urban park. The study describes an analysis of chosen area and the conceptual solution has been carried out.

Mnoho firem na trhu zjistilo, že kvalitní úroveň managementu bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci je pilířem a základem úspěšné společnosti. Efektivní řízení managementu bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci je stavebním kamenem určujícím spokojenost zaměstnanců, ale i samotné udržení úspěšnosti, konkurenceschopnosti a dlouhodobého rozvoje na trhu. Firmy, které vyvíjí značné úsilí na řízení rizik a jejich předcházení, jsou schopny minimalizovat výrobní ztráty, které vyplývají z úrazů a nemocí, naopak mohou dlouhodobě zvyšovat produktivitu a snižovat výrobní náklady. Udržení pracoviště, které je bezpečné, zdravé a produktivnější je klíčem k ekonomickému rozvoji a je proto ekonomicky velmi výhodné.
