Uvažování o deníku jako literární (nebo obecněji umělecké) formě1 s sebou nese vždy řadu problémů, a to na mnoha úrovních. Deníky můžeme pojímat čistě literárně-teoreticky - z hlediska literárního žánru; na základě naratologických kategorií, jako je čas, adresát, fabule versus syžet; z pohledu literárně-historického, textologického, můžeme je interpretovat nebo hodnotit. Stejně tak se ale na konkrétní deníkové texty i na deník jako fenomén můžeme dívat z pozic psychologie (i psychiatrie), filozofie, sociologie, historie nebo třeba didaktiky či kriminalistiky. Každý pohled může mít svůj smysl, často však jedině v kontextu jednoho konkrétního deníku, a někdy dokonce jen v rámci jednoho jediného deníkového záznamu. Deník jako předmět zkoumání se totiž zároveň neustále vzpírá každému zobecnění a jasnému vymezení. Dosud se tak vedou různě zaměřené diskuse o jeho postavení v systému literárních útvarů (Je deník žánr? Jaká jsou pak jeho žánrová omezení?) i vztahu mezi uměním a skutečností vůbec (deník jako literární artefakt a deník jako dokument). Většinu z těchto potíží můžeme hledat v okolnostech a důvodech vzniku deníku, tedy v oblasti mimoliterární a literárním měřítkům nepodléhající. History of the Chroustovice Manor

I focused on the general view of the manor in my thesis. Chroustovice wasn't an important manor. Due to this fact, it has never been written the work of a similar character. This thesis is personal to me because I have spent my life in Chroustovice. In the thesis I described historical, artistic, economical, social and ecclesial development of the manor. I described the changing of the owners of the manor. I tried to map trade with the surrounding villages and their belonging with the manor. I focused on the building of Chroustovice manorhouse, which was the centre of the manor, and it still dominates the village. I tried to collected the fate of the most prominent local natives. I tried to synthesize sources and literature. I enriched my thesis with rumors and stories that are still circulating in the region until today.

Australian journalism students'expectations of the employement market they are about to entercompared with empoyement opportunities

Media, being a strongly cultural specific phenomenon is always closesly connected to society. The role of a journalist is influenced by the same process. This thesis is focused on the evolution of the journalism profession in a young and unfamiliar Australian environment and it's differences to a European journalstic environment where the profession has been evolving for a much longer period. Journalism was "imported" to the Australian Continent during British colonisation. This diverse evolution of the journalism profession post colonisation has influenced contemporary journalism education at Australian Universities. Analysis of the study curiculums of Six Universities (Three Czech Universities, which represent the academic model for European academic traditons, and three Australian Universities) will show that differences in journalistic education have strongly influenced the preparation of students into the journalism profession. The thesis will aim to show that Australian Universities are strongly oriented toward practicing skills. This will be shown to be in comparrison to the Czech Universities which focus on principles of general academic knowledge and understanding in the wider context of the journalism profession.

Currant Family in the Czech Republic

In my thesis I will focus on issue of changes in current Czech family roles and status. Main objective of my thesis is to cover essential roots of these changes. This topic was covered by me on basis of statistical and demogarfical data published in professional press as well as on individual study of independent sources. Changes in the family values are also caused by interchanging roles of men and women, their individual participation in operation, education and economic welfare of a family. These topics are also covered in the paper.These issues will be analyzed in regard of social mobility and unequality of particular family members, which influences theis social nad cultural capital, as well as consecuent ability to assert themselves in labour market. Changes in economic and social conditions have influenced family life very substantially, thus, partial task of my diploma thesis will be research focused on whether or not, in economicaly and socialy deprived regiones with relatively high unemployment, there are changes in family life influenced by disadvantegous social and economic conditons of a particular family dwelling area. My conception of this diploma thesis should contribute to understanding of development of a Czech family in contemporary social-economic and geopolitical development of Czech Republic in new millenium.
