Strnadová, Iveta ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis aims to explore aspects of the sudoku riddle from the user's perspective and create a tool to help him solve it. It deals with both classic sudoku and its popular subtypes. The tool is a website application made in Django. It implements an app for solving sudoku with hints, explained sudoku strategies and a tool for finding the next logical step.
Nurse's role in surgical site infection prevention in orthopedics
STRNADOVÁ, Iveta
My thesis is devoted to setting of boundaries for nurse's role in surgical site infection prevention in orthopedics. Surgical site infection is current subject in surgery. Description of historical evolution, characteristics and infection selection in theoretical part of thesis is based on actuality and numerous occurrences of infections. Risk factors leading to SSI were also described and we targeted them more specifically on presence in pre surgical, inter surgical and past surgical period. Description of the origin, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and consequences of SSI was also made for setting the point and completion of this problematics. Nurse's role in preventive measures is mentioned in special part in theoretical part of thesis. More specifically it is nurses role in pre surgical, inter surgical and post surgical period related to growth of SSI. Objective of research part was to chart nurse's role in SSI. Our intentions were specifically on activities in pre surgical and post surgical period. The empirical part of the diploma thesis took place through a qualitative research survey. The technique of the work was a semi structured interview with nurses working in wards dealing with patients with surgical site infections. Thirty two nurses from hospitals in Liberec and South Bohemian regions were taking part in interview. All of interviews were realized in February and March 2021. Results were all recorded on audio recorders and recordings were then rewritten and processed with paper pen technique. During the qualitative investigation, it was found that all nurses meet in their practice with patients suffering from, among other things, surgical site infections. With these patients, nurses perform preventive activities mainly in pre surgical and post surgical period. In their preventive activities, nurses are using available resources, habits of their department and knowledge that they have at place of surgical site infections. Meanwhile there is somewhat unity in ATB prophylaxis, in the area of preoperative preparation recommendations may vary, or are sometimes missing. This fact is then also reflected in clinical practice. Nurses are following rules of barrier nursing care and also they know and use modern trends in wound care. The nurses also demonstrated their knowledge in the field of monitoring the development of infections at the site of surgery in the postoperative period. The empirical investigation of the thesis tells us that nurses meet patients suffering from, among other things, with surgical site infections while providing nursing care. They know basic activities used to prevent it's spreading especially in preoperative and postoperative period which they apply in their clinical practice.
Preparation of N-(2-oxazoline-2-yl-phenyle)barbituic acid
Strnadová, Iveta ; Kotoučová, Hana (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I dealed with preparation of N-(2-oxazoline-2-ylfenyl)barbituic acid by condensation of N-(2-oxazolin-2-ylfenyl) urea with malonic acid in the presence of acetic acid and acetic anhydride and condensation of the N-substituted urea with diethylmalonate in the presence of sodium ethoxide, too. Original substance for the preparation of N-(2-oxazoline-2-ylfenyl) urea was 2-aminophenyle-2-oxazolin, which was prepared from 2-aminobenzonitrile.

Flavinium Salts Usage as Catalysts of Oxidation Reactions
Strnadová, Iveta ; Kotoučová, Hana (advisor) ; Holakovský, Roman (referee)
Usage of Flavinium Salts as Catalysts of Oxidation Reactions Summary This diploma thesis deals with use of flavinium salts as a catalysts of oxidation reactions. 3,7,8,10-tetramethylisoalloxazin 25, 5-ethyl-3,7,8,10-tetramethylisoalloxazinium perchlorate 16 and 5-ethyl-1,3-dimethylalloxazinium perchlorate 26 had been prepared. Salts 16, 26 and other previously prepared phlavinium salt 28 were tested as potential catalysts for the oxidation of phenylboronic acids to the corresponding phenols, and especially for the use of oxygen as the oxidizing agent. The best solvent systems were found through testing and followed possible influence of the substituent on the phenyl ring of boronic acid was investigated. This initial screening can be used as a basis for further and more detailed testing of catalytic efficiency of flavinium salts and to study the oxidation mechanism.

The market for narcotics: Policy and Theory
Strnadová, Iveta ; Šťastný, Daniel (advisor) ; Janíčko, Martin (referee)
The content of this work is analysis of black market with drugs to determine how and to what extent the market can be eradicated. In the first part of my work I define the black market, analyze the basic causes of origin and its consequences for society. In the following section I examine what measures the governments do in this area. Furthermore, I focus on the views and recommendations of economists, and finally make a comparison of their recommendations with the implementation of policies in this area.
