Crossroad Hlavní třída a Slezská street in Frýdek-Místek - study

The subject of this diploma thesis is variant design of adaptation of T- intersection to crossroad at Frýdek-Místek. At first, there was made traffic forecast of generated traffic from regional planning. After that, there were made traffic forecast from relocation of road II/477. Then for every traffic forecast there were made two more variants of designs. The first variant is designed by one lane roundabout and signal-controlled intersection with signal timing plan. The second and the third variant are designed by turbo roundabout and signal-controlled intersection with signal timing plan. All variants have their own capacity analysis.

The theme of this bachelor´s thesis is the elaboration of a study of a modification of the intersections in a district Bystrc of the city Brno because of its unsatisfactory shape and condition. These yield – controlled intersections are in an urban area. The intersection between road no. 384 (Rakovecká street) and a local road (Páteřní street) is a T junction. The intersection between the local roads (Páteřní street and Nad Dědinou street) is crossroad. The modification of the intersections brings about also the modification of a bus stop, a nearby pavement and the private entries. During the reconstruction there could be build new parking spaces.

Pecirka's National Calender and its authors

The core topic ofthis thesis is National Calendar (Národní Kalendář), later also known as Pečírka' s National Calendar (Pečírkův Národní Kalendář), and its formers. National Calendar had been published in Bohemia yearly for almost a hundred years, from the 1850's till the end of the 1940's. The success of National Calendar was undeniably the result of the efforts of Dr. Josef Pečírka, the founder of the Calendar, and his wife Mariana, who carried forward the tradition of publishing the popular book after her husband's premature death. However, not even her own death brought the end to the Calendar; the Pečírka family kept compiling and publishing it regularly each year until 1949. ln this thesis, the author focused mainly on the period 1858 - 1904, the era spanning between publishing of the first issue of the Calendar and the death of Mariana Pečírková who represented the first generation of its creators. The first chapter represents an introduction to general history of calendars. It gives an account of inception of calendar as a system, describes the first means of its recording and the later shift towards book-like calendars, and depicts the evolution of calendars in the world. Tapestry in architecture

An object of this disertation is a tapestry and its join or integration in the interiorr of public building. A single text is separated into a few parts. Into theoretical a documentation to practical work and finally is added hooked illustration. Every part has its specificity and it deals with definite topic. History of worlďs and Czech tapestry short describes the first part, the theoretic. My effort here was dokument in more details historic and contemporary creation of both Czech manufactures conversant with tapestries. In the documentation to practical part I besides of interiorselection public building target the psychologically and colour incidence of given space. Another chapters then solves proportions, colourfull ness material and finally art, which will be the tapestry made an issue of previous thinking and treatise was an origin of final design tapestry in two variants of final fulfilment also in two possible techniques.The last chapter this part deal with suitable location of tapestry in the space of borehall. Final variant sof tapestry installed by the help of computer programme Photoshop we find in the last, also picture part.
