Mechanical properties of large scale 3D printing parts
Sýkora, Jakub ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Křivohlavý, Petr (advisor)
This study focuses on the mechanical properties of polymer samples printed using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) on a KUKA KR8 R1620 robotic arm with layer height and orientation relative to the bed as parameters. The samples were tested for tensile strength. The shape of the specimens was designed to eliminate the stress concentrations generated by the manufacturing process. The maximum stress values were compared with each other and the results were evaluated. In the end, it was evaluated how faster it is to print a sample using a 2 mm nozzle than a 0.4 mm nozzle. The results showed that the ductile materials (PETG and CPE) have significantly less load carrying capacity when printed on the robotic arm. For fragile materials (PLA and NonOilen) the difference is smaller. A sample can be printed up to 20 times faster using a 2 mm nozzle at a layer height of 1.5 mm than on a conventional printer at a layer height of 0.2 mm. The results of this work are intended to serve as a benchmark for further investigation of large-scale 3D printing. They can give a basic understanding of the properties and behaviour of materials printed using large diameter nozzles.
Legal regulation of the association of unit owners and its practical issues
Sýkora, Jakub ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
59 Cizojazyčné resumé The legal regulations of the unit owners' association and its issues in practice The questions in regards to the flat ownership and unit owners' association are very topical nowadays, mainly with respect to the fact that this subject affects the daily life of many addressees of law regulations. The poor elaboration of the legal regulations of the unit owners' association led to a negative response from the public. This legal regulation is rather complicated and inconsistent. The legislator made the attempt to resolve the imperfections in the legal regulations through several amendments of the flat ownership law; however, these amendments did not abrogate all the moot questions and many times brought other confusions into the legal regulations. I discuss the most important amendments mentioned above at the beginning of my thesis. The main body of the thesis focuses on the unit owners' association, whereby the law recognises this as a legal entity, which is according to the residential and non-residential ownership law eligible to practise law and commit to subjects related to administration, house operating, and repairs of the collective parts of the house only, eventually is eligible practice activities within the scope of the law and activities related to the collective parts of the...

Sýkora, Jakub ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Frinta, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with legal aspects of the lease of an apartment pursuant to the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended. Regarding the fact, that the said code is relatively new, the thesis also contains a comparison with the previous Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, in the previous wording. The first chapter is devoted to the general aspects of the lease and of the lease on an apartment. The second chapter deals with the lease agreement as the main legal title for the creation of the lease of an apartment and its characteristics. In this respect, it also deals with some special cases of the lease of an apartment. The third chapter contains rights and obligations of the lessor and the lessee. The fourth chapter is focused on the rent and other related payments. The subject of the fifth chapter is the joint lease of an apartment. The sixth chapter deals with the sublease. In the seventh chapter, I focused on changes of the lease relationship with respect to its subjects. The last chapter deals with legal facts that result in termination of the lease of an apartment. The thesis also shows some insufficiencies and disputable issues contained in the new legal regulation. The text is added by relevant judicial decisions.
GTTG - application for manipulation with train timetable diagrams
Sýkora, Jakub ; Ježek, Pavel (advisor) ; Rosa, Rudolf (referee)
Applications for organization of rail transport often contain visualization of traffic situations, referred to as train timetable diagrams. The goal of this thesis is to create a library that simplifies the development of such applications by providing graphical component which allows developers to implement their own custom train timetable dia- grams. The component, developed for .NET platform, utilizes 2D graphics library SkiaSharp for drawing and can be integrated into various GUI frameworks. The library features interactive rendered content of train timetable diagrams - for example, zooming in on specific areas of the content or clicking on visualized elements. The library also offers an easily extendable implementation of the basic train timetable diagram. As an example of our library utilization, we also developed a WPF application inten- ded for viewing train timetable diagrams of Czech railways. 1

Editing in Digital Cinematography
Sýkora, Jakub ; Dolenský, Martin (advisor) ; Doruška, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis focuses on analysis of changes in the area of film editing, resulting from the introduction of the modern electronic technologies. By comparison of the classical cinematographical workflows based on a traditional film stock with the new opportunities brought by digital systems, it aims to specify the new working methods as required from the professional film editor. Consequently, this thesis defines the advantages and point out the possible issues arising from displacement of the classical film stock with an electronic media as a fundamental changeover in the whole cinematography history. Furthermore, it explores the recording options of new digital cameras with a view to evaluate the impact on the profession of the film editor. It ponders on the situation of a film editor as he/she is being overloaded with new technologies and seeks the way out from the accumulation of duties and responsibilities which an editor has to manage nowadays.
Film editing and film editor in a digital age
Sýkora, Jakub ; Janková, Antonie (advisor) ; Cabalka, Vladimír (referee)
This work is proposing to study relationship between a film editing, film editor and a power of new technologies, which rapid development significantly affects whole editor´s profession. The work analyzes changes in estabilished editing procedures caused by modern non-linear editing systems and inspects their consequences at the editor and editing itself. One part of the work compares film material and digital cinematography, mainly from the point of view of casual problems during post-production based on digital film in non-linear editing systems. It tries to solve technical jamming, that is actually forcing to film editors.
China and India as a part of the Asian developing center
Sýkora, Jakub ; Adamcová, Lenka (advisor) ; Harmáček, Jaromír (referee)
China and India are currently one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Because of more or less successful reforms enacted 30 years ago in China and 15 years ago in India, both countries have become more open to the outside world and have managed to build a strong presence in the world markets. This paper aims to describe this development and the status quo of the selected areas of international trade, leading to a comparison of the gathered data.
