Combining bracketed pictures
Roubíčková, Anna ; Holub, Viliam (advisor) ; Adámek, Jiří (referee)
In real-life scenes, the light dynamic range is often larger than a digital camera is able to capture. This problem is addressed by exposure bracketing, i.e. the same scene is captured several times with different exposures. This work presents ImageLighter, a program designed for automatic blending of series of bracketed pictures in order to restore the original dynamic range. The algorithm is designed to use as much visual information as possible while blending. The resulting picture then reflects light levels of the original scene more accurately. The thesis describes algorithms and data structures used. A comparison to other known approaches is presented as well.

Roubíčková, Anna ; Voráček, Josef (advisor) ; Pavlík, Marek (referee)
Title: Marketing plan of the Pro-6 Squash center Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to propose a marketing plan for a squash center in Kyje, Prague, based on a situation analysis. The primary purpose of the plan is to widen the customer base and to secure the center's revenue growth, as the reconstruction of the center is currently being planned. Methods: For the purpose of creating a situation analysis, I have used a set of half- structured interviews with the center's owner. The situation analysis itself consists of setting a growth-share matrix, the market segmentation, competition analysis through a scoring model, and a SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the situation analysis, I have set all the marketing goals and using a marketing mix, finally set the marketing plan for the center. Results: I found out the Pro-6 squash center has a secured spot on the market and it has been running relatively well compared to its competition. However, it is now necessary to increase the revenues. The marketing plan was set to achieve this goal by widening the customer base. Keywords: Sports service marketing, situation analysis, SWOT analysis, scoring model, growth-share matrix, marketing mix

The media reflection of the Czech pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Czech and Italian press
Roubíčková, Anna ; Sládková, Hana (advisor) ; Wolák, Radim (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the media reflection of the Czech pavilion from the recent EXPO in Czech and Italian print. The research sample comprised of 12 daily newspapers (Hospodářské noviny, Lidové noviny, Mladá fronta DNES, Právo, E15, Deník, Corriere della Sera, la Repubblica, La Stampa, Il Giornale, Il Messaggero, Il Sole 24 Ore) that were monitored from 1. 3. 2015 until 30. 11. 2015. Firstly, the content analysis of 137 articles was performed on the individual level for both states. Subsequently, the media reflections in Czech and Italian print were compared to each other. The research found out for both countries that the highest number of media outputs was in May and that one particular journal was dominant in each country. On the contrary, the primary differentiation point was the extent of interest of the media outcomes. As the focus range of the articles differed (the Czech pavilion only in contrast to multiple national pavilions), other distinctions imply, such as the main subject of the articles or the most accented news values.
The position of video game industry among the creative industries in the Czech Republic
Roubíčková, Anna ; Kubaš, Mario (advisor) ; Hanzlík, Jan (referee)
The diploma thesis entitled "The position of video game industry among the creative industries in the Czech Republic" brings up a complex view on the Czech video game market. It has been created based on data acquired from numerous local and international scientific studies and also using interviews with selected representatives of the Czech video game market. It has turned out that the Czech video game industry builds up its economical position step by step. Its year-on-year turnover grows and thus gradually counts up to even larger portion of the return of cultural and creative industries. This happens spontaneously, without systematic support from the national or local governments. However, such a support is common in other European countries. Interested parties that play a part in the Czech video game market would be (according to conducted interviews) very interested in this kind of support, mainly in form of tax relief and the promotion of local developers abroad (which would also bring foreign investors into the country). Thus, the claim that the implementation of institutional support of Czech video game would solve its two most acute problems, is valid. All addressed representatives (coming from different segments of video game market) have confirmed that these two issues are the lack of financial and marketing support. In case these barriers of market development are removed, the process of growth of the Czech video game market as a strong member of the industry would speed up significantly. All abovementioned facts, along with other aspects of the problematics, are reflected in SOAR analysis that brings the thesis to an end.
