Proposal of the reconstruction of a distribution network in a specific area

The dissertation describes several types of low and high voltage distribution networks including their implementation in specified location with regards to the reliability and quality of electric power supply. The distributions networks are classified according to ways of cable routing, distribution line voltage levels as well as according to types of network interconnections. The high and low voltage distribution networks are further categorized based on used cable types, where, more attention is paid to insulated lines used in the Czech Republic, low voltage lines called „AES“ and „PAS“ high voltage lines used more and more during the distribution network reconstruction. Attention is also given to the description of used methodology for the calculation of network performance stability. An individual part of the dissertation is devoted to a low voltage distribution network proposal in the village of Kovalovice. Based on performed analysis of distribution network conditions, several reconstruction versions were proposed with the help of „KASI“ software, the description of which is also included. The proposed versions are further analysed for both, technical and economical aspects and is selected most suitable version of the distribution network.

EU structural funds as a tool for supporting regional development in Poland and the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with regional policy of European Union with the impact on EU structural funds implementation. The process of european integration is followed by increase of regional disparities within member states. The thesis gives the basic survey of regional disparities and EU structural policy principles in general and show the view of economic theory on regional growth. In the second part I show regional disparities within Poland and the Czech Republic and compare the strategies of structural funds implementation in the period 2004 - 2006. Integration of marketing and sales departments in the company

The Bachelor thesis presents the topic of Integration of marketing and sales department in the company. Its main objectives are to introduce the ways as how to link these two departments in the company and what benefits does this link yield. The theoretical part concerns the definition and specification of the key marketing and sales objectives including the differences and overlaps between them. The practical part examines the current relations by the method of qualitative research as well as the cooperation and individual objectives of both departments at five particular enterprises. The research was administered by the means of individual in depth interviews with managers of sales and marketing departments. The main contribution of this paper is to identify the extent of the cooperation concerning these two departments and to determine whether there will be any positive contribution regarding the improvement of the cooperation between these departments by merging them together.

Split delivery vehicle rating problem is one of the most studied combinatorial optimization problems in operations research. According to the mathematical difficultness, there should be many problems to find the optimal solution. Therefore, there are many exact algorithms and heuristics, which tries to find the best solution in the short period of time. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the basic facts of the split delivery vehicle routing problem and its heuristics. The practical part focuses on the practical usage of the split delivery vehicle routing problem. The main goals of this thesis are the practical usage of this vehicle routing problem and assistance in strategic decision establishing of the secondary store.

V této práci jsou vysvětlovány algoritmy a řešení Nesymetrického Problému Listonoše, včetně algoritmů řezných plánů. Tento speciální problém listonoše vychází z mnoha okružních dopravních problémů a má velice zajímavé reálné použití v běžném životě. K dokázání správnosti heuristik a algoritmů jsou prezentovány výpočetní pokusy a experimenty včetně počítačových výsledků.
