The purpose of the participation of the elderly in the interest-based education (Motivation analysis of older adults living within Prague 12)

This bachelor thesis is focused on the elderly education, especially the motivation of older people to participate in educational activities. The paper consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with an overview of basic knowledge about the issue with the use of literature both domestic and foreign authors. The second, practical part contains a description of own empirical survey. The aim of the survey is to identify the main reasons for seniors to participate in organized interest-based education, fractional goal is to detect the most common barriers, obstacles to such participation. The survey was conducted by a quantitative method of questioning and the collected data was further evaluated and commented. Organizational culture

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the phenomenon of organizational culture. The thesis explains the concept of culture itself and organizational culture. It describes the content of organizational culture, its individual levels and the possibility of revealing and affecting these levels. In the thesis, there are also presented some of the best-known typologies of organizational culture and functions that an organizational culture has. The second chapter of the thesis closely defines terms which relate to organizational culture: corporate identity, corporate ethics and corporate climate. The third chapter deals with some aspects of intercultural management including a comparison of Czech and German national culture. The practical part of the thesis describes on the basis of qualitative and quantitative research the determinants and content of culture of a chosen company. At the same time the power of its culture is evaluated.
The issues concerning further education of armed units working with the deliquent youth

Práce zaměstnanců Vězeňské služby ČR je specifickou službou společnosti - chrání tuto společnost před nebezpečnými jedinci. Přitom výkon profese se realizuje v obtížném sociálněpatologickém prostředí, a je spojen s poměrně vysokými nároky na znalost právních předpisů, jejich dodržování a vyžadování jejich plnění. Zaměstnanci se musí často vyrovnat se zátěžovými a stresujícími situacemi a to nejen v kontextu s přímým stykem s osobami ve výkonu vazby nebo trestu, ale také v kontextu se stykem se svými nadřízenými, kteří jim svým přístupem zpravidla činnost nezjednodušují, ale poměrně často komplikují, což bývá ale doménou nejen Vězeňské služby, ale ozbrojených složek vůbec. Pro příslušníka je pak prioritní záležitostí tyto zátěžové situace neprodleně a správně řešit.
Opportunities and threats of developement of non-profit organizations

Society development, legislative and economical environment, all strongly influences third sector and non-governmental organizations. We can say that during its existence gained non-governmental organizations irretrievable place in the society, but this place is still in danger of misunderstanding from general public side. For these reason it's necessary to preciously define terminology of non-governmental sector and non-governmental organization so they can be more easily comprehended by general public to ensure that in the future this sector receive bigger and more efficient support from society. To eliminate dependency on governmental funding it is necessary change legislative environment to support multi-source financing of third sector subjects. Further it's necessary to ensure close monitoring of their activities and transparency of their financial management. Author of this paper describe and evaluate current situation in one selected non-governmental organization based on specified parameters. And focus especially on significance of public relations as opportunity for its further development. This thesis deals with the motivation program of the company and its basis. The thesis focuses on the analysis and the comparison of motivation theories that have influence on the creation of motivation programs. In addition to traditional motivation theories is a crucial part of the thesis devoted to the so-called new motivation theories. The new motivation theories are called because of their development during last thirty years. The main aspects of the comparison of motivation theories in this thesis is a historical view of the theories, but also a progress of management theories and related development of human resources management. The thesis aims to identify the benefit of new motivation theories for creation company motivation programs. Job interview

The first part, theory, begins with job analysis. Then searching for applicants and selection of the employees follows. The key topic of the study is focused on the most frequent method of the employee selection - job interview. The advantages of this method are the possibility to assess the applicant's personality more thoroughly and also to check and supplement the information gained by other selection methods. On the other hand some of the disadvantages are the tendency to subjective assessment and the fact that the interview is comparatively time-consuming. In any case the job interview should be also done according to the ethic principles. There are a lot of types of the interview. Interviews differ for example by structure, by the number of applicants or by the formulation and purpose of the questions used during the interview. Each interview consists of the three following parts: preparation, course and evaluation. The practice reveals that the selection process is influenced not only by the setting of the personnel processes but also by the personal approach and expertise of the evaluators. Research on job satisfaction

The aim of the work is to summarize job satisfaciton theme and to realize research on job satisfaction. Therefore, the work is divided into two main parts - the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part forms the basic view to this theme. The first passage is devoted to theoretical resources of job satisfaction, the second passage is focused on essentials of methodology. The empirical part describes realization of the research on job satisfaction of telephone operators in certain company. In this part, results of the research are prezented and summarized. Despite of some drawbacks I believe, that this work represents certain contribution and that she fulfilled defined aim.

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je obsazování žen do vedoucích pozic. V našich společenských poměrech se jedná o problematiku velice často diskutovanou a medializovanou. Přesto však existuje řada předsudků a stereotypů, které jsou v naší společnosti pevně zakořeněny a znemožňují tak ženám plně se realizovat. Cílem práce je poskytnout náhled na problematiku zaměstnaných žen - a zvláště pak žen ve vedoucích funkcích - z pozic personálního řízení. Celá problematika je velice široká a zahrnuje mnoho různých aspektů. Budu se zabývat především takovými aspekty, jako je rovnost příležitostí na trhu práce, postavení žen na trhu práce a především postavení žen ve vedoucích pozicích. Zaměřím se na některé atributy pracovního a rodinného prostředí z pohledu žen ve vedoucích pozicích se všemi pozitivními a negativními stránkami, které tato pozice přináší.
Migration, education and integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic

Foreign cultures: this colourful palette of art, languages, habits, rituals and millions of human stories ha interested me all my life. I consider this paper an opportunity to explore the topic of immigration in the Czech Republic and to discuss opportunities for integrating immigrants into Czech society through education. In the first part of this paper I discuss the phenomenon of migration, define the concept of multiculturalism and provide an overview of the legal framework of integration in the world and in the Czech Republic. In the second part I introduce the network of non-government non-profit institutions which work with immigrants in the area of education. After considering the available information, I have divided their educational activities into four categories, which are presented here in more detail. The third part summarizes several concepts of intercultural psychology, which in my opinion have a big influence on the integration of immigrants into Czech society. And the last part presents the area of empirical intercultural studies.
Educating parents about child drug addiction

The bachelor theses focuses on the prevention of drug addiction among children, specifically the education of parents in these matters. Family upbringing is understood to be one of the fundamental factors of prevention, which helps reducing the risk of drug related problems. The aim of this theses is to emphasize the necessity of informing and educating parents in these questions. Parents may take advantage of the gathered knowledge in applying the efficient drug prevention. The first part of the theses addresses the theoretical side of drug addiction. The basic terms, sub-division of drug types and methods of application are explained. Further more, the causes leading to drug addiction, negative effects of drug abuse, methods of prevention, types of therapy and information about legal regulations in the Czech Republic are also discussed. The second part adresses the family upbringing as one of the factors in the prevention of drug addiction. The third part of the theses is the orientational research of parents' knowledge in matters concerning drug addiction. An integral part of the bachelor theses is a framework of a parents' guide entitled "Do you know as much about drugs as your child does?"
