This bachelor thesis deals with accounting and tax issues of cryptocurrency operations. It further explains and clarifies the operation and properties of cryptocurrencies. The work focuses on the analysis of the problems of the current situation, valuation and registration of cryptocurrencies in accounting, but also the payment of value added tax or income tax and more. This work then tries to demonstrate the findings on model examples of cryptocurrency operations, including recommendations in the areas of accounting and taxation.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the securing of receivables and debt collection. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part describes receivables from the legal, tax, accounting and economic point of view. The analytical part focuses on receivable analysis of entrepreneur. The last part of the thesis proposes more effective ways of securing of receivables and debt collection.

Proposal of Addition to a Hedge Fund Portfolio

The subject of the submitted thesis is to construct an investment recommendation for management of a hedge fund. The first part focuses on theoretical and legal aspects of hedge funds in the Czech republic conditions and also on principles of stock analysis. The second part specifies a hedge fund model and the primary selection of companies. The third part contains their analysis and follow-up comparison, and also estimates future value using ROE method. Verification of obtained results is contained in the fourth part. The final part formulates the investment proposal as per the obtained results.

Creation of an Investment Portfolio Based on the Economic Results of the Issuers

The main goal of this thesis is an evaluation of executive management in public companies in regards to their ability to allocate excess cash as well as their ability to manage said companies in order to build and mantain competetive advantages as means of estabilishing dominant market position and generating above-average profit, together with quantitative evaluation using methods of financial analysis and corporate finance in order to evaluate financial stability, effectivity and rentability of these companies as well as estimating the value of these companies in comparison to the market price of their shares in order to determine, whether a company can be considered a value investment and whether it will be elligible for incorporating the shares into a value portfolio. This thesis is then divided into two parts-theoretical basis of the thesis and practical part, whereas the theoretical basis revolves around researching practical procedures as well as theoretical knowledge in the field of value investing and financial markets in order to establish unified framework for applying mentioned principles. Beforehand defined value investing principles are used in the practical part of the thesis. Therefore, in the practical part, we evaluate three public companies- Apple, Inc. NIKE, Inc. a The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. pursuing a goal of estimating their fair value and determine, whether they are eligible for being incorporated into a value portfolio.

At the end of the work, the current financial health of the company is evaluated and the possibility of future financing of the company is suggested.
