Development and implementation of a database schema testing system
Káňa, Jakub ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Procházka, Ondřej (referee)
The thesis deals with development of software tool which is able to automatically test relational schemas. Software development is aimed at supporting database systems Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle MySQL. In the introduction is presented research papers of comparison of database schemas in a software development teams after that selected software tools offered by the market are evaluated. In the next part is introduced historical context of evolution of database models and there are described objects within the rela-tional schemas. It is discussed differences between mentioned database systems and ways of providing meta-information about database schema. In the implementation part is described development of testing tools, problems occurred during development are analyzed. One chapter is devoted to description of applied tech-nologies. Contribution of this work is application design and practical implementation in the envi-ronment of the real company which is capable to create database objects based on SQL (DDL) scripts and compare them with pre-defined logic.
Implementation of ECG within Bank regulation of the EBA
Machaj, Maroš ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Procházka, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis is dedicated to the problematics of economically connected groups (ECG), ranging from business specification to creation of the ECGs. The goal of the project of creating ECG is to better clarify connections between subjects, which can lead to diversification of risk in a financial institution like bank. Parts of this thesis will serve as a text in the internal documentation of a bank. The first chapter is dedicated to the economic theory for understanding the issue of ECG. The following parts describe practical side of this matter as well as its technical realization. Contribution of this work is the description of the ECG creation together with small proposals for its improvement.
Reflection of the Most Important Leadership Theories in Academic Periodics in the Years 1990-2014
Procházka, Ondřej ; Dvořáková, Miroslava (advisor) ; Gruber, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on content analysis of articles of academic journals, that are concerned with Leadership, in period between years 1990 to 2014. The aim is to create a summary of the most cited Leadership theories in academic journals in period between years 1990 to 2014, based on the content analysis. First, Leadership is defined and the evolution of understanding of Leadership is explained, then the most important Leadership theories that came to an existence before the year 1990 are introduced. Next, the procedure and methodology of the content analysis is described and the results are presented, which are subsequently being reflected upon. The most important Leadership theories in period between years 1990 to 2014 are finally introduced independently. Keywords: leadership, leader, trait theory of Leadership, skill theory of Leadership, Situational theory of Leadership, Contingency theory of Leadership, Behavioural theory of Leadership, Transformational Leadership, Leader-Member Exchange theory, Authentic Leadership, Ethical Leadership, content analysis, academic journals
Spectral continua and lines of hydrogen in solar flares
Procházka, Ondřej ; Kotrč, Pavel (advisor) ; Švanda, Michal (referee)
We present a unique design of a post-focal instrument suitable to detect fast changes of flux in waveband 350 - 440 nm. As it is not possible to measure the Sun as a star because of a strong background radiation in this waveband and using a thin slit makes it impossible to measure the whole flaring area we made a set of circular diaphragms of different sizes able to collect light only from a limited part of the Sun's atmosphere. For our data we also evolved new software technique based on statistical methods that even more increases a sensitivity on any changes in spectra. First results of observations of three X-class solar flares obtained in June 2014 proved significant increase of flux in Balmer continuum. One of these flares was measured from 20 minutes before a peak in SXR (GOES) so we were able to compare a whole impulsive phase with a state with no signs of a flare before it. Data suggest a radiation at Balmer limit (364,5 nm) of up to 5,5 stronger from flaring kernels compared to the quiet Sun. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The light-curve solution of an eclipsing binary
Procházka, Ondřej ; Zasche, Petr (advisor) ; Wolf, Marek (referee)
The main aim of this work was the first detailed analysis of an eclipsing binary system V641 Aur. The complete light curve of this binary was obtained in three photometric filters, which were analyzed with the program PHOEBE. It is a double star with the orbital period of about 0.50487 day, whose both components are rather similar. Their individual spectral types are probably F6 and F8 (according to the temperatures), or F6 and F6 (as derived from masses). Both are orbiting on a circular orbit and despite their short period the system is a detached one and both components are still located on the main sequence. Moreover, thanks to the asymmetry of the light curve there was discovered a spot on the surface of the primary component, and the third light was not detected. For more detailed analysis higher accuracy of photometry and spectroscopy data are required.
Value added tax from the point of view of Czech and Community law
Procházka, Ondřej ; Kohajda, Michael (referee) ; Boháč, Radim (advisor)
Value Added Tax in EC and Czech Tax Law Since 1950s, tax systems of jurisdictions around the world have undergone a revolutionary change, marked by the proliferation of value added tax. The pioneering jurisdiction in this respect has been the supranational European Economic Community, known as the European Community since 1992. Its common system of VAT has set out an example of an invoice based, credit substraction VAT which has since become a model for developed and deve- loping countries alike. In the Czech Republic, VAT was introduced in 1992 under strong EC influence, as part of a far-reaching tax reform aiming at adapting the tax system to the needs of market economy. As of May 1, 2004, Czech Republic joined the EC and became part of the common system. In this work, we first provide a general overview of the VAT. We identify its key characteristics and use classification to discuss the pros and cons of the invoice based credit substraction system. We review the VAT from the fiscal policy perspective and apply the criterions of sound tax design to explain the reasoning behind its popularity. Next, we explore in depth the development of common system of VAT in the EC. We discuss the reasoning behind its introduction, the economic and legal circumstances of its adoption and further development. We deem that...

Analysis of intracranial pressure
Procházka, Ondřej ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor’s work is the literature review about problematic of measurement and evaluation of intracranial pressure. I describe physical principle of intracranial pressure, anatomy of cerebral ventricle and different accesses and placement of measuring instruments in intracranial place. Moreover I describe evaluation of clinical data at standard way and explain analysis in frequency and time domain by program MATLAB. I make a script for analysis ICP data. It calculates main ICP, amplitude and latency of waves, RAP index and shows spectrum of amplitude.
Methods to detect selection in DNA sequences
Procházka, Ondřej ; Maděránková, Denisa (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
The topic of semestral thesis is methods to detect selection in DNA sequences. In the begining of the thesis we will describe molecular evolution. It will be written what made the evolution and how the evolution is shown. Moreover there are gen mutations and mechanisms of diffuse and fixation. It will be defined what pozitive, negative and neutral selection is. The thesis is focused on evolution distance of synonymous and nonsynonymous substitution. There will be described three methods – Nei-Gojobori, Li-Wu-Luo and Comeron. All these methods will be described with mathematic formulas. There will be statistic test to decide what kind of selection ti is – there will be used z-test. In the practical part, there will be information about developed software what counts selection pressure from sequences from databazes in format GenBank and it shows parts where selection is. The software will be used for two data sets with two different genetic codes. The result will be discussed. We will discuss results of all three methods of selection pressure and influence of input parametrs.
