Advanced network device scanner
Procházka, Michal ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Holasová, Eva (advisor)
The master thesis focuses on problem of identifying device types on a local network. The work explores current methods for device recognition on local networks and examines a survey of open-source tools capable of identifying these devices or gathering additional supplementary information. The discovered tools are compared based on several criteria. Furthermore, a laboratory environment is created for testing the identified tools as well as for testing own implementation. Subsequently, this thesis presents a proposal for the own implementation of a device identification method and the retrieval of advanced information about these devices. The main part of the work focuses on describing several possible methods of device identification, including practical examples. Scripting of the practical examples is implemented in Python or through the command line. Based on the outlined approaches, the thesis presents a list of all recognized devices from the experimental setup. Finally, the methods are compared in terms of network utilization during scanning.
Hydrostatic bearings for wind energetics
Procházka, Michal ; Foltýn, Jan (referee) ; Michalec, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the bearing of the main rotor shaft of a wind turbine using hydrostatic bearings. Wind turbines come in many designs and the thesis then determine the operating parameters and bearings used in horizontal axis turbines of different installed power outputs. Currently, repairs, as well as servicing of bearings, are very costly and affect the operation of the entire power plant. Hydrostatic bearings offer advantages that could reduce the failure rate of wind turbine bearings. The operating parameters of turbines of different outputs were used to calculate the selected hydrostatic bearings. The results shows that the use of this type of bearings is possible for turbines with different power outputs, but higher efficiency is estimated for larger turbines (for example 8 MW turbine). The energy consumption of bearing, required to drive the hydrostatic bearings, reaches 0,03 % of the total output, compared to 0,39 % for the smaller 55 kW turbine. The calculation has been simplified in the initial energy performance estimation and further steps could include bearing geometry optimization or extending the operating parameter range of the wind turbines.

Apophyseal injuries in sporting children and adolescents
Šťastná, Kateřina ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of apophyseal injuries in the population of sporting older children and juniors. The bachelor thesis is divided into several parts. The introductory part of the work focuses on various types of acute and chronic injuries and their description, treatment options and their prevention. The thesis also concentrates on prevention of these injuries with regard to the quality, frequency and complexity of training, taking into consideration the anatomical, physiological and, last but not least, psychomotor development of the child. The thesis also describes coaches' approach towards training of children and juniors to and its affecting factors that may increase or decrease the frequency of injuries. Part of the work is also a practical part, where the case studies of a patient with a diagnosis of M. Osgood-Schlater are compiled. The patient respectively his legal representative agreed to the processing of information about his treatment for the purposes of this bachelor's thesis.
Analysis of national and international road transport in the Czech Republic
PROCHÁZKA, Michal
First part of this bachelor thesis covers a general concept of freight transport and describes gradual introduction of road freight transport. Attention in road freight transport is paid to the general characteristics of road freight transport and concepts of the road freight transport. Transport Policy of the European Union is subsequently presented and also related to the legislation of the Czech Republic's road freight transport. The last part describes trends which are currently being developed and shows examples of their use. Next part is already related to the practical part. This is an analysis of the national and the international freight transport in the Czech Republic until 2019. There is a comparison of national and international transports and analysis of them. The last two chapters deal with the coronavirus pandemic. This is a brief intoduction and a description of the measures that have been used to prevent the spread of the virus. These measures certainly had an impact on both national and international road freight transport. The results are evaluated by using graphs. The last chapter contains reflections on the whole situation and the ilustration of future developments of road freight transport. Part of this chapter is also semi-structurated interview with a representative of the transport company and a representative of the forwarding company who are directly affected by this situation.
Validation of Czech Version of 3DPAR questionare for adolescent
Svobodová, Eliška ; Procházka, Michal (advisor) ; Radvanský, Jiří (referee)
Author's first name and surname: Bc. Eliška Svobodová Title of the master thesis: The Validation of czech version of 3DPAR questionnaire for adolescents Department: Department of Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Supervisor: As. MUDr. Michal Procházka The year of presentation: 2013 Abstract: The aim of the study was to test the questionnaire of physical activity "3 Day Physical Activity Recall" and determine its reliability and validity. The research was accomplished by using pedometers Yamax SW 200 on a group of children from 15 to 17 years. The theoretical part of this thesis reviews the possibilities of monitoring the physical activity of youth by subjective and objective methods with some examples of studies already carried out. The results were statistically processed and described. Keywords: physical activity, 3DPAR questionnaire, pedometer I agree the thesis paper to be lent within the library service.
Comparison of senzitivity of the Omron HJ - 720IT pedometer according to the location on the body
Bohdanová, Markéta ; Slabý, Kryštof (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
The aim of this study was to compare the accuracy of a biaxial piezoelectric pedometer Omron HJ-720IT according to a position it was attached to on a body with a classic spring - levered pedometer Yamax SW-200, which was approved to be valid in previous studies. The Total of 57 probands (39 females and 18 males) participated in the study, which contains 3 parts. In the first part the pedometers were tested in a self - paced walking condition ("slow", "moderate" and "very brisk" walking) on a track of 135 m in length. The second part included four-minute sections of walking on a treadmill under controlled conditions at following speeds: 3.2, 4.8 , 6,4 and 7,5 km.h-1 and slopes: 0 %, 5 % and 10 % and two fifteen-minutes sections at 4km.h-1 with no inclination and 6 km.h-1 with 5 % slope. The third part was aimed to record artifacts while going by bus. At no position at speed 4.8 km.h-1 the 1 % error was exceeded. The highest accuracy was achieved with Omron on a belt of(above) a SIAS. It is also reliable in counting of aerobic steps at this position. While going by bus it counted 3 steps/min at most at all positions. Omron Pedometer HJ-720IT proved validity and reliability at various mounting positions under self-paced and prescribed walking conditions. Keywords: pedometer, Omron, Yamax, physical activity,...
Diabetes mellitus type I. and physical activity
Douša, Martin ; Radvanský, Jiří (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with diabetes mellitus type 1 and the opportunity of compensation by adequate physical activity, focusing on middle age and older patients, having suffered from diabetes for a long period of time. The thesis focuses on the different attributes of the burden, affecting the daily life of patients with diabetes. For better understanding and clarity of the issue, the work is divided into several chapters and sections dealing separately with the influence of physical activity and potential profits from regular, properly indicated motion for compensated patients. The thesis also describes involution changes occurring in the aging organism, which are always necessary to be taken into consideration when selecting a physical activity. The work is supplemented with pictures and graphs in the annex that enable a better show, and outline the issues. In my work, I not only try to show the positive influence of a wellchosen physical activity in patients with diabetes, but also highlight the potential risks and hazards coming from an improperly chosen therapy. Furthermore, I attempt to offer the chance to look at this type of therapy from several different perspectives. My aim is to show that a properly chosen physical therapy in individually selected range and performance should be much more...
