New reality. Man's path to humanity and a better world thanks to teachers-wizards
Prchal, Jan ; Vojtěch, Daniel (advisor) ; Chlup, Radek (referee)
The comparatist work provides a comprehensive and broad view of a specific literary genre of the last decades, which is called "dialogue with teacher-wizards". A wizard is understood as a person with unusual, supernatural abilities who imparts knowledge of a certain kind to his or her apprentice with a specific goal in mind. A literary analysis of the genre (including an excursus into the history of dialogic forms) and an analysis of selected structural parts of the wizard's "myth" are made as a basis for comparison. Finally, a basic line of interpretation is outlined. The aim of the thesis is to lay the foundations for the study of this "new" genre in the Czech literary environment and to provide summary information on the C. Castaneda and V. Megre. Keywords: dialogical form, fantasy, wizard, apprentice, Carlos Castaneda, Vladimir Megre
Pupils' Orchestra Trmickus at Trmice Elementary School and Its Development
Bayarmagnai, Uyanga ; Prchal, Jan (advisor) ; Tůma, Jan (referee)
The author of this thesis strives for a comprehensive stance on pupils' orchestra Trmickus, which was established at Trmice Elementary School in 2010. The theoretical part of this thesis examines the formation, development and the present standpoint of the ensemble. It elaborates the specifics and significance of both the orchestra and the school. These are attributed to inclusive education of children of various social groups and minorities and collaboration with them. Thus, this part initially focuses on the characteristics and the educational philosophy of the school, pupils of whom are of different ethnicities and have different types of physical and mental disabilities. It highlights both the approach of the teaching staff and the unified attitude and behaviour of the students. The next chapter is dedicated to the founder of the orchestra and the personality of teacher Drahoslav Straňek. Emphasis is placed on his pedagogical activities as well. The work then deals with the life of the student orchestra, where the influence of regular participation is recorded on the members in varied dimensions and directions. The position of parents also plays an important role, which clearly conceives the life of the orchestra and creates the preconditions for its successful results. The following chapter...
Us & Them: Centricity in Literature
Prchal, Jan ; Šebek, Josef (advisor) ; Bílek, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis maps the origin, development and changes of the literary centre and literary periphery in the period of turning points in history from 1986 to 1992 on specific material. The phenomenon of changing publishing preferences and the phenomenon of changing the author's work itself is discussed in detail. The thesis aims to answer the overarching fundamental question: Who influences the form of the literary market and culture the most and on what basis this "natural selection", where one part of production becomes the centre while the other becomes a periphery, but often in an unbalanced proportion with quality, takes place. This thesis theoretically explains the issue of the literary centre and the periphery in a broader cultural and social context, noting that the literary "explosion" may have a controlled character and therefore predictable impacts on society. A fundamental benefit should be the analysis of the relationships between literary works and the requirements of those structures that model the form of the literary market. KEY WORDS literary theory, literature management, centre and periphery, publishing reviews, explosion, Miroslav Florian, Vladimír Páral, Jurij Lotman
Cooperative Activities in Music Education in the Primary School
Kružíková, Dominika ; Selčanová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Prchal, Jan (referee)
Annotation: The diploma thesis focuses on cooperative activities connected with methods of critical thinking in the teaching of music education. I follow up on my annual paper dealing with cooperative games in primary school education. In my previous teaching practice, I focused on group teaching. It is the co-operative activities that offer a synergy of a particular group of pupils, thus not only helping to achieve learning objectives, but also strengthening the positive relationships among pupils within the group. The cooperation offers scope for the development of critical thinking among pupils. In conjunction with other alternative forms of learning, it develops the pupil's musical abilities more effectively (unlike normal frontal education). I started to devote myself to this topic mainly because I did not meet with a similarly invigorating approach in my previous practice in schools. It was a strong motivation for me to explore this issue and try it practically. I would like to give my teacher colleagues new insights into the concept of music education. The work explains the basic concepts of cooperative teaching. It brings the methods and forms of teaching that are appropriate for the development of the necessary key competencies. My goal will not be to focus on all the key competencies the pupil...

The Bathymetry of Němčice reservoir
Prchal, Jan ; Máca, Petr (advisor) ; Bašta, Petr (referee)
Bathymetric measurements are important for mapping relief of current reservoirs and streams. Due to the lack of similar measurements in the Czech Republic is presented diploma thesis focused on the implementation of the first bathymetric survey on the water reservoir located on the basin Němčice - Sedlický stream. As a part of the work was done bathymetric data collection device River Surveyor M9 data processing interpolation procedures and evaluate the mutual comparison of estimation results. It was also evaluated the effect of the resolution to the retention volume of the tank and its sedimentations regime. Based on the evaluation of the measurement is based on a minimum average error method Universal Kriging. Processed data were measured during the year 2015. The result of the work can serve as a guide for subsequent measurements and estimates bathymetric data on a similar small reservoirs in the catchment areas of the Czech Republic.
