Heating Plant Mydlovary

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the Heating Plant Mydlovary. Especially optimization of its flow and chaining the power sources regards to the financial rationalization. The main focus is on flow of co-generation unit TEDOM Quanto D1200, which is product of Tedom s.r.o. Heating plant also consists of two warm water boilers Kotad 800 (thermal output 5,44 ) and Babcock Wanson BWN 150 with the maximum thermal output 8,0 . This heating plant is located in South Bohemia, close to town Zliv. Zliv is supplied by heat by the Heating Plant Mydlovary. Most of the houses in the city is connected in the district heating system. Whole heating plant is property of company E.ON Trend s.r.o.
A fuel cell, as an alternative source of electricity

The work deals with fuel cell technology, the principle of fuel cells and their division. Also there is presented an option of natural gas utilization as a fuel for fuel cells in this work. In the end of this work two scenarios of fuel cell usage in microcogeneration are introduced and there is also a technical economic evaluation of fuel cell microcogeneration unit used in these scenarios.
Photovoltaic, as an alternative source of electricity

The aim of this work is to provide a description and an explanation of the process of obtaining elektrical energy from solar radiation. There is preliminary mentioned an importance of producing electrical energy from renewable sources and development of photovoltaic systems. The body of the thesis is divided into seven chapters. At first, there is described the principle of transformation solar radiation into electrical energy. Then, the description of types of barrier-layer photocells follows. The types are divided according to their structure and material, which are they produced from. The third chapture is focused on production and construction of photovoltaic modules. Ways, how can be production of electricity increased, are mentioned in the fourth chapture. Advantages and disadvantages of solar concentrators are given there. In the fifth chapture there are described two basic kinds of connection of photovoltaic system. Different ways of taking-off produced electricity are related with those kinds of connection. The last chapture is the fundamental chapture of the thesis. There is given a project of concrete photovoltaic system. For this system is calculated economic return of investment included supposed increase of prices of electricity. In conlusion the author noticed events that would be given and emphasized the outcome of concerete project of photovoltaic system.

Utilizing of wind energy with accumulation

The introduction of this paper deals with wind-powerplants, their components and distribution according to their construction and output. Technologies of accumulation of energy are described, because the conditions for energy production from wind are not constant (windlessness, storms, etc.). The technologies are compared in terms of economics and technology. A basic design for a system with accumulation is made at the end of the thesis.

For heating – up has been used a one-circle system with through heating swiming pool water. The calculation has been intent on concept of collector area size, balance of energy system and economic return of solar system.

The main purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to collect all available literature, from which can reader obtain basic knowledge of geothermal energy practical usage possibilities. Geothermal energy comes from heart of our planet. As such it is ranked among renewable energy sources. Thesis describes direct heat utilisation for heat supply systems and electric power generation in geothermal power plants. It is also entertain about possible usage of low-potencial geothermal energy by the help of heat pumps.
Domestic heat pumps

The Bachelor´s Thesis deals with domestic heat pumps. It is devided into two basic parts. In the first part, an operating principle, components and various types are described. Particular kinds of low-energy sources including characteristical features and comparision are mentioned there as well. In the second part, a project for a domestic heat pump is prepared. The project includes proposition of a particular heat pump, a borehole and an amount of heat needed for heating and a preparation of warm water. At the end, a complete economical balance including an economic return of the investment is mentioned.
Utilizing of furnace waste heat for hot water production

The content of bachelor thesis deals with utilizing of furnace waste heat for hot water production. In the chapters are described various types of secondary energy sources, heat exchangers their distribution, types and their design. More detail is devoted to the calculation of the heat exchanger combustion water for heating hot water in accordance with the parameters. In conclusion of study is given technical and economic evaluation and compared to the status quo.
