Raman spectroscopy as a tool for analysis of microbial cells

This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of Raman spectroscopy for analysis of ectoine and hydroxyectoine presence in bacterial strain Halomonas elongata. Theoretical part compile characteristics of extremophiles with closer look on halophilic organisms and one of their main osmolytes, ectoines. Following by description of Raman spectroscopy method and its uses. Experimental part deals with cultivation of bacteria on different combinations of substrate and salt concentration in order to reach optimal production of PHA and for achieving the highest possible yield of biomass to be analysed by Raman spektroskopy. As the best substrate for PHA production turned out to be glukose along with salt concentration 30 g/l NaCl, where percentage representation of PHB makes 30,5229 %. As an ideal substrate for the highest yield of biomass proved to be sacharose. Bacteria that grew on sacharose with three different salt concentrations, 40, 70 and 100 g/l NaCl was measured along with Halomonas salina and Halomonas organivorans for comparison. Raman spectroscopy unfortunately turned out to be inadequate for measurement of this type of sample, thus we were not able to measure ectoine of hydroxyectoine presence in cells.

Evaluation of turf sprinkle irrigation

Bachelor´s thesis is focused on evaluation of turf sprinkler irrigation. The aim of bachelor´s thesis is testing of used and new nozzles of the sprinkler TORO S850. The thesis contains method of testing nozzles and evaluation results. Measured values are compared and difference in distribution of irrigation water is determined.

This master’s thesis is focused on problematic within the prediction of bankruptcy of companies operating in the field of agriculture in Czech republic. First part consists of introduction to companies that do business in field of agriculture and it describes bankruptcy models that are used in academicals sphere. Other part of thesis is divided into two sub-parts. First part is dedicated to an application of data into models of bankruptcy and their evaluation. Second part is focused on improvement of the best model and its main goal is to maximize the precision of the bankruptcy.

Network element project by means of neural network

The diploma thesis deal with a priority network switch whose model was made in programming environment Matlab - Simulink. Problem of optimal switching is solved by Hopfield’s artificial neural network. Produce of the diploma thesis is a model of packet switch and time-severity comparison of optimalization problem solved with or without artificial neural network. The thesis was developed in research project MSM 0021630529 Intelligent Systems in Automation.

This thesis is focused on the analysis of demographic trends in births and economic indicators of Breclav. Based on this analysis, the prognosis is determined occupancy of primary schools and prognosis economic indicators of Breclav. It identifies the number of children attending educational facilities, depending on the number of births and predicts what will be the required number of classes opened in 2013. This thesis also deals with the analysis of budgetary revenue and expenditure of the village Breclav and way to improve the management of the village .The bachelor thesis uses statistical methods of time series and regression analysis.

Statistical Methods for Descriptions of Running Pharmacy Helios

Master thesis is dealing with the application of particular statistical methods for a description of pharmacy Helios operation. The attention is primarily focused on stock management within the scope of independent demand model, where the related performance indicators of weekly revenues, daily revenues and expenditures per customer are subsequently exposed to thorough analysis. In addition, one of the main goals of this thesis can be identified as the intention to create an application for continuous monitoring of available stock, where their depletion below the specified level would be reported. This thesis should also provide a certain guidelines how the aforementioned application could be integrated within the existing information system in order to automate the process of orders processing.

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of the marketing mix of the selected company. It is divided into four parts. Objectives and methodology, theoretical, practical and design part. The first part focuses on defining the objectives of the diploma thesis and at the same time describes the used methodology, the second chapter deals with the theoretical knowledge, the third chapter deals with the practical processing and the last one is concentrated on the design solution of the marketing mix of the company, while the whole work compares theoretical knowledge with reality.

Productivity Analysis of Králík's Bakery Using Time Series

The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to come up with an in-depth efficiency analysis of Kralik's bakery by means of using time series. The intput data set is entirely based on references which were obtained directly from the bakery. Main intention is therefore concentrated on drawing up an analysis that will be used for prediction of production factors in a future. This will consequently lead to better optimization of production plans.
