Mobile wheel cranes

The aim of the thesis is introduction of mobile crane and comparison of individual models from different manufacturers. The first part is devoted to the history of cranes. Other types of cranes are mentioned here as well. In the main part are mentioned systems that we can encounter in cranes. At the same time, it categorizes cranes of the world's leading manufacturers according to the main technical and dimensional solutions. The third and last part of the thesis, is trying to estimate development trends.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to draw up an overview of manufacturers of belt conveyors and their individual components together with clarification of functions and construction of selected units. The work includes basic division, overview of manufacturers of different types of belt conveyors, diagram and description of individual parts, analysis of conveyor belts, drums, belt cleaners and others, together with the overview of manufacturers of these components. It also contains an assembly drawing of the selected unit.

This master thesis deals with a structural design of the modular roller conveyor which is part of the flexible assembly line of automotive seats. The work includes design and functional solution for a driven roller track. Present structural design of roller conveyors is summarized in the first part of the work.

Topological optimization of a crane jib

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of topology optimization in the design of structures and machine parts. The first part of the thesis consists of a theoretical summary of the current state of knowledge of crane jibs and their basic categorization. The second part consists of theoretical knowledge about optimization problems and the method of topology optimization. In the third part, an example of the implementation of topology optimization on a cantilever crane is processed using the Ansys Workbench software. The parameters of optimized jib designs are compared with the parameters of their basic models. At the end of this chapter, an evaluation of the results of topology optimization is performed.

This thesis is focused on functional and strength calculation of the scissor mechanism of lift table with dimensions of working cage 1 600 x 750 mm, capacity 250 kg and with required lift height 6 m. The aim of this work is development of drawings of the overall assembly, drawings of the subassemblies and development of the manufacturing drawings.

Belt conveyor for crushed limestone

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present a structural design of a belt conveyor for crushed limestone. The transport distance is 28 meters with superelevation of 7 meters. The traffic performance of the belt is set at 43,000 kg.h-1. The structural design depends on calculation according to the standard ČSN ISO 5048. The study contains brief description of basic parts, followed by control calculation of bulk material and drive pulley. The attachment includes necessary drawing documentation.

Conceptual design of bridge crane 8 tonne

This bachelor thesis deals with conceptual scheme of a bridge crane with carrying capacity of 8 tons. Intention of this thesis is to scheme out the main specifications and size of this bridge crane. First of all we design and calculate the main bridge girder. Afterwards we calculate and design the cross bars and the travelling wheels. At last the desigh of an electromotor for powering the movement of the bridge crane takes its place.

Renovation of escalator

This master's thesis covers the construction analysis of an escalator by the Otis a.s. company and the conception of its modernization called "In-truss".This type of modernization consists in preserving the supporting construction of the 506-type escalator into which the components of newer 506-NCE series are to be built in. Such operation requires modifying the construction and creating adaptors used to anchor the new components to it. These modifications lead to the stress testing of the construction, that is done by using the finite elements method in NX-Ideas software. The thesis contains the design of selected subsystems of the escalator, the stress testing of the new supporting construction and the creation of volume model in CREO-Parametric application for further use.

Belt conveyor for food corn

This bachelor thesis deals with a belt conveyor for the transportation of food grains. The aim is to perform a functional analysis and structural design of the angled conveyor belt to transport an output of 53,000 kg per hour, given an axial distance dunes of 19 m and a height difference of 3.5 m. The thesis contains a brief description of the main parts of the belt conveyor, the functional calculations according to standard ČSN ISO 5048, the determination of the main dimensions, the design of the drive and conveyor belt tensioning device. It is also performed stress analysis jacket and a driven drum, and analysis of the properties of the transported materials. The work is accompanied by drawings.
