Automation of MitM Attack on WiFi Networks
Vondráček, Martin ; Lichtner, Ondrej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
Torrent Peer Monitoring
Bezděk, David ; Pluskal, Jan (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with analysis and implementation of methods for BitTorrent monitoring focusing on the Mainline DHT protocol. The aim of the thesis was to create a system, that will be looking for BitTorrent peers that participe in the illegal file distribution. Another task of the system was to collect and analyze data for counting size of the BitTorrent network. That was achieved by taking over of existing method. The system was designed and implemented as a module for monitoring of cybernetic crime. It also defines an interface for storing and sharing data, that provides data evaluation, easy data manipulation and serves for possible future extensions.
Security Analysis of Home IoT Network
Čikel, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Kamil (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This work focuses on the issue of the  security in home IoT network. Specifically, it focuses on the security issues of commercial IoT devices and their automation systems. In the work itself, it was firstly analyzed and identified specific threats specific for our network. To address these threats, the original automation systems and firmware on the devices were replaced by open-source implementations that were configured to address discovered threats. Although, there are still several security issues in a network with an open-source implementation, a large part of the security issues which were discovered has been eliminated.  The results of this work allows to configure a home IoT network using an opens-source automation system and firmware and proves that such a network is more secure than the network where the original factory-supplied automation systems and firmware on devices are used.
Online Games Chat Reconstruction
Beran, Pavel ; Pluskal, Jan (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
We live in modern times. We are surrounded by many different forms of information technologies. We watch movies, surf on the internet, play videogames and overall do lots of action that leave a trace in the cyberworld. This thesis investigates the possibility of using(playing) videogames as a decoy for getting involved in criminal activities, specifically MMORPG games, different ways of capturing and reproducing player´s chat communication. It also introduces a way to implement chat reconstruction module into Netfox.framework and other ways of communication visualisation.
Chat Bot Based Ticket Reservation
Chovanec, Tomáš ; Lichtner, Ondrej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
Today, people are starting to get familiar with the term of chat bots and it makes nodifference if they are specialists or general public. The aim of this thesis is to define chat botsas a web service, describe platforms which use this service and try to develop a connectionfor advanced functions, for example online payment gateways or virtual assistants, to extendcurrent ticket booking chat bot services.
Web Application Testing with Mocked Data
Bruckner, Tomáš ; Lichtner, Ondrej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with creating and providing mocked data for applications that use REST interface to communicate between the client and server parts. From the various implementations of the REST interface, the work focuses only on OData standard. The project itself is mainly for SAP company. Naturally, even the libraries that are used in the final solution are from SAP. Primaly JavaScript framework SAPUI5 is used. The merit of this work is a library that facilitates the development of the client side of web applications. It fully supports CRUD operations over OData calls. Compared to other libraries creating mocked data that always return the same static data, this one simulates the behavior of the real server. So, when DELETE method is called for a specific entity, the given entity is deleted. This functionality is enabled by the client-side database created directly in the web browser, which corresponds to the database on the server side. A similar library for OData protocol does not exist, so it is a unique solution. The solution is verified using prepared web application.
C#-JavaScript Transpiler for DotVVM
Mrnuštík, Michal ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to solve issue of transpiling server code written in C# to client-side JavaScript code, so it could be run in the browser. And then implementing the proposed solution. Next goal is to integrate this solution into framework DotVVM and develop an application demonstrating this techonology.
Generating Blazor Components from C# Classes
Špavor, Dávid ; Koutenský, Michal (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the possibility of automatic generation of views in dynamic web applications using Blazor technology. The task is to analyze parts of the user interface of web applications, Blazor technology and select such views that could be automatically generated, thus simplifying and streamlining development. For this task, I designed and implemented a framework that contains components that support the generation of views based on context in the form of a model of data contained in the C# class. These components support parameters that can be used to customize views directly within the code. The result of the work are implemented two extensive C# libraries, which are available online as an open-source project and also as packages for the possibility of integrating into existing Blazor applications.
Smart Home Open-Source Components
Kúšik, Lukáš ; Letavay, Viliam (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the state-of-the-art commercial elements found in smart home households. Their freely available alternatives are explored, together with three open-source home automation platforms. We review freely available microcontroller development kits, usable for the development of smart sensors. After that, using a suitable combination of electronic components and microcontrollers, components are designed and implemented for our own smart home system, utilizing the Home Assistant platform. This incorporates a built-in redundancy, designed to withstand cases of a failure of any component. The developed tool uses container orchestration technology, real-time file synchronization and automatically configured database clusters, to achieve a unique and comprehensive solution to high availability of Home Assistant.
Software Architecture Comparison
Motyčka, Michal ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to compare software architectures to help the reader decide which architecture is the most suitable for their project. The thesis compares the Onion architecture, Anemic domain model architecture and Active record architecture. The architectures are compared based on their readability, extensibility, testability and the amount of knowledge neccesary to implement each architecture. It also offers the description of other well-known software architectures and the concepts which they use.
