Comparison Potential Production of Electric Energy by Photovoltaic Sources for Municipalities with Population up to 3 000

The goal of this thesis is to inform the reader of upcoming trends in solar roof panels, and their usage in cities with less than 3000 inhabitants. This thesis also contains a list of selected photovoltaic tiles and panels and their parameters. Included is also a list of several free solar calculators, with one examplary processed house. The practical part includes three selected cities where the photovoltaic potential was evaluated by the method that was derived from norm ČSN EN 15316-4-3, and the overview of this data.
Activity of new nickel-complexes in coupling reactions

In this work, we report the study of the catalytic activity of newly prepared coordination compounds of nickel(II) (complexes were prepared by prof. Kyritsis, University of Athens). The activities in model reactions of Kumada and Suzuki coupling and polymerization of 2,5- dibromo-3-hexylthiophene were tested. For Kumada coupling, the activity is comparable with known complex [Ni(dppp)Cl2]. On the other hand, selected complexes exhibit only limited activity for Suzuki coupling. GRIM polymerization of 2,5-dibromo-3-hexylthiophene was successful. Properties of prepared polymers are comparable with polymers prepared via known route with [Ni(dppp)Cl2].
Comparison Of Two Methods Of Evaluation Of Photovoltaic Potential For Selected Area

The goal of this article is show two possible ways to calculate photovoltaic potential of a large area with a large amount of buildings. A medium-sized village under 3000 inhabitants was chosen to showcase where the two possible methods of evaluation were used. Photovoltaic potential was calculated for the roofs of buildings in selected area.
