Analysis of Tools for Overcoming the Constraints of Czech Rural Development

Rural areas in many countries face challenges related to insufficient infrastructure and limited opportunities for further development. The paper analyses and evaluates the potential of foreign spatial development tools to overcome the limitations of the qualitative development of rural settlements. Examples of instruments are examined in terms of their applicability in the municipality of Martinice (Žďár nad Sázavou district). This paper aims to identify and classify suitable spatial development tools that could be implemented in the spatial planning of rural settlements in the Czech Republic.

Air Conditioning of chicken brooder

My diploma thesis focuses on design of air-conditioning system for chicken breeding spaces. In the background are considered general issues of air-conditioning, hatchery layout and microclimate for eggs incubation and chicken breeding. The research part is divided into two parts – Calculations and Design. The Calculations address the amount of incoming fresh air, heat loss, heat load and psychrometric calculations for summer and winter periods. The Design focuses on defining suitable diffusers and air-ducts, optimal air-conditioning unit with fans corresponding to hatchery requirements and pressure loss in ducts. The technical drawings and a list of used material are included.

Diploma thesis is focused on air flow simulation in the specified space by means CFD method. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to design 2 variants of ventilation and to choose the better one considering airflow speed in the most occupied space. Thesis conclusion is dedicated to is dealing with the design of air-conditioning system for specified space.

This thesis deals with design of detached house which is divided into two separate units. The house is situated on slightly sloping terrain in cadastre unit of Hlupočepy in Prague 5. The house has a L-shape design. The bigger unit is designed for four member family and the smaller unit can be used as an apartment for grandparents or for a lease. The house is fully basement and has two above ground floors. For perimeter walls are used ceramic blocks Heluz with holes filled with polystyrene. The foundation construction is designed as reinforced concrete base plate and ceiling constructions as reinforced slabs. The house is roofed with gable roof with 40 degrees gradient. The thesis contains documentation for construction implementation.

Proposal of Site Facilities

My bachelor´s thesis is devided into two parts, the theoretical one and the practical one. In the theoretical part, I define functions of a construction site, as well as its division into zones. Moreover , I describe particular objects,buildings and mechanizms which are key elements of the construction process. Next chapters include planning, realization and economic viability. Finaly, the practical part, which is the main purpose of this thesis, is the design of the construction site for the particular appartement house located in Třebíč and also creating a technical report and the situation.

Alemat s.r.o. headquarters and warehouse

This diploma thesis deals with design of office building with warehouse. The buildings are situated on slightly sloping terrain in cadastre unit of Sudoměřice u Tábora. Both buildings have rectangular shape and are connected with two sides. The Alemat s.r.o. company is internet shop, predominately with electronics. In the office building is also showroom where are some products will be shown. The warehouse will serve for receipt and issue of goods and to store them. The perimeter walls of office building is designed from ceramic block thickness of 250mm, for example Heluz Family 25. The walls will be insulated with 200mm of expanded polystyrene. The foundation construction is designed as foundation strips from plain concrete and permanent formwork brick filled with concrete and reinforced with steel. The ceiling construction is designed as prestressed panels thickness of 250mm. The roof is flat with main hydro isolation made of plasticized PVC foil loaded with pea gravel. The main construction of warehouse will be made of steel frames. The exterior skin of the warehouse will form panels Kingspan thickness of 140mm. The foundation construction is designed as monolithic foundation pads. Between the pads will be monolith grade beams. The roof is designed also from Kingspan panels. To the panel will be mechanically fastened plasticized PVC foil. Roof drainage is designed to rain gutters.

The bachelor´s thesis includes design of air-conditioning devices of Alzheimer centrum in Zlosyň. Bachelor´s thesis includes three main part. Theoretical part, which describes ventilation of kitchen. The second part is focused on calculations. This part deals with design of three air-conditioning units to three function zone in object. The calculations includes the design of air-conditioning unit in cafeteria, kitchen and hot air-system in accommodation for the patients of the Alzheimer centrum. The last part of bachelor´s thesis is about project documentation of air-conditioning in object.

Visualisation of Static Comparison of Semantic Equivalence of Different Versions of Software Written in C

The aim of this thesis is to create a more comprehensive presentation of results of the DiffKemp tool, which is used for static analysis of semantic differences in large projects written in C. Currently, DiffKemp displays all information about the found differences in an unstructured text which is often confusing for users. To solve this problem, a new output of the DiffKemp tool was created in this thesis, which provides the results in a serialized form using the YAML format. This output is subsequently processed and displayed using a newly created results browser, implemented as a web application using the React library, the Bootstrap framework, and the react-diff-view package. In the browser, we focus on providing an additional context in the form of source codes of the analyzed functions, and on facilitation of navigation and orientation in the found differences as well as in the provided information such as the call stacks. A comparison of the newly created browser with the original solution has shown that it is easier for the user to recognize changes in the provided call stacks and that the new browser allows him to navigate faster in the results as well as between relationships of the found differences and analysed parts.

Spatial Planning Tools for Agricultural Land Protection in the Czech Republic and Austria: A Comparative Study

One of the most significant problems of sustainable development is the continued loss of arable and agricultural land due to the expansion of housing and infrastructure development. The paper compares the current spatial planning tools for protecting agricultural land in the Czech Republic and Austria. Analysis of examples of spatial planning documents, legislation, and related strategies, their verbal description, and comparison provided an overview of the status of protecting agricultural land. The results show that there are tendencies and tools to reduce the consumption of agricultural land in both countries. However, conceptual land protection in the Czech Republic could be more effective if complemented with appropriate tools from the Austrian environment.
