Identification of Relations between Parameters of the Aerosol and Location of his Occurence
Tydlitát, Vratislav ; Pekárek, Vladimír ; Šyc, Michal
Analysis AAS of aerosols taken on three places in Prague, fractions PM10 and PM2,5 is presented. As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Al, Fe, Zn are determined. By the method EDX are determined relative content of 37 elements. Two analysis of samples of powders catured on ventilation filters in Prague 5 and Prague 6 are presented (inorgnic anionts, NH4+, Ca, Mg, Na, K,SiO2 are determined).

Dehalogenation of Polychlorinated Biphenyls
Bureš, M. ; Pekárek, Vladimír
This work deals with the determination of the thermodynamic stability of di- to nona-chlorinated biphenyls during the dehalogenation process of these compounds in the gas phase by steam in presence of solid copper. The aim of this study is a preliminary calculation of chemical equilibrium in this dehalogenation process, which can be compared with the measured kinetics data, obtained during simulation of the technologic process. The work is connected with our previous studies, carried out with dehalogenation of polychlorinated benzenes and polychlorinated phenols.

Technology of Catalytic Dehalogenation of POPs
Pekárek, Vladimír ; Ocelka, T. ; Grabic, R.
The present work deals with the results of the basic and applied research of mechanisms of formation and detoxification of dioxins and chemically similar compounds (ödioxin-like compounds), especially PCDF, PCB, OCP and others. This work is concerned with application consequences of the results of laboratory and pilot plant tests. The application of immediate concern is the destruction of POP compounds in the fly ash and other materials contaminated by POPs.

Measurement of Persistent Organic Pollutants and Inorganic toxic Substances in Flue Gases from Crematory Furnace
Pekárek, Vladimír ; Tydlitát, Vratislav
Literature data about content of PCDD/Fs in flue gases from crematories, two day measurements of pollutants from one crematory furnace are described. Found concentrations of particulate matter and inorganic gases (SO2, NOx, CO, VOC, HCl, HF), concentrations of toxic metals and of PCBs, PAHs and PCDD/Fs are presented.
