Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations

Title: Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to recommend the most suitable Belbin roles for job positions in sports organizations based on knowledge from research and literature. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research will take place in the form of dialogue and subsequent discussion of the Focus Group with representatives of sports organizations. 9 respondents will participate in this group discussion. Quantitative research is conducted among volunteers in sports organizations through electronic surveys and the Click4Survey tool. The Belbin test is part of the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey includes a sample of 305 respondents. Results: The results of qualitative research show that the positions offered to volunteers include the positions of administrative worker, assistant, supervisor, organizer and coach. The results of quantitative research show that the most represented role in volunteers, according to Belbin's typology, is the role of the Implementer. Title: Wilson Tennis Center Marketing Activities and Their Innovative Approach Objectives: The objectives of my masters thesis is giving the suggestions for improving the company current situation for the upcoming years, based on information from my analysis. Methods: Methods of my approach to this research were analyzing the data from my quality research, identifying the strentghts and weaknesses of the company. Based on these methods I suggested these major improvements fot the overall improvement of the company situation. Results: The research has shown that the biggest strenghts of Wilson Tennis Center are: advanced material equipment and large spacious facility, well air - conditioned solid structure building of the tennis facility, high number of tennis courts etc. The most common weaknesses people in my research were mentioning were the overall attitude of the restaurant staff, lack of social and sports events for the overall client base - recreational client and kids, lack of well, propriately a sufficiently illuminated courts. The main suggestion from me is to create a new public relations manager position who would be able to and responsible for the new changes to be implemented. Title: Using the GAP Model of Service Quality in the FITcentrum Chrudim. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze through GAP model the causes of the gaps that exist between the various levels of interaction in the process of providing services in the FITcentrum Chrudim. Based on the results was assessed the state of the organization and the solution was designed to achieve a higher quality of service and higher customer satisfaction. Methods: For the research is used GAP model of service quality, model of five gaps. Individual gaps were investigated using questionnaires designed for customers and staff of fitness center, semi-structured interview with the owner of fitness and self-observation. Results: The results of research are illustrated using the method of classification crosses, tables and graphs. The obtained dates helped to identify the services, what can be improved and to find the gaps in communication between employees and on the basis of this are set recommendations, how existing deficiencies minimize or completely removed. These results help to achieve a higher quality of providing services and enjoyment of the customers. Title: Marketing Research of Customer satisfaction in FITcentrum Chrudim Objectives: Thesis "Marketing Research of Customer satisfaction in FITcentrum Chrudim" is in its final form a very important source of marketing information system of management in a medium-sized fitness center in Chrudim. Its aim is to determine customer satisfaction with products depending on their initial expectations. Acquired views, comments and criticisms of the provided services helped us to assess the state of the sports organization on the basis of which a proposal was submitted for possible improvement. Methods: The study is based on theoretical knowledge related to the selected topic. Marketing research based on the method of survey was one of the most frequently used methods for enquiring about customer satisfaction. Results of the individual questions of the questionnaire are shown in the graphs. Based on their interpretation, the state and operations of the surveyed organization was assessed. To obtain information about the operation of FITcentrum Chrudim, a semi- structured interview was conducted with the owner. Title: Marketing mix of FC Baník Ostrava and proposals for its improvement. Targets: Comprehensive appraisal of FC Baník Ostrava marketing mix. The objective was to make an improvement proposal of individual marketing elements based on the synthesis of the club fans marketing research results and author's experience. Methods: An electronic questioning was used to obtain the relevant information. This questioning was focused on the fans satisfaction, opinion and attitude. The respondents were the fans of FC Baník Ostrava. Results: Marketing research results showed deficiency in the current marketing mix of the club. Fundamental deficiencies regard an unprofessional club communication and disrespectful attitude towards the club fans who are their customers. Furthermore, based on the results of questionnaire analyze main results of decrease in the number of players compared to the last seasons and to purpose a improvements to increase those numbers, quality of competition and the participant satisfaction. Methods: Quantitative research using electronic questioning Results: Participants are most satisfied with the cleanliness and the Pankrác grounds. Also a quality of their opponents and the number of played matches are considered to be good. They find the biggest problem in starting fee that i stoo expensive. Title: Marketing communication of Czech Olympic Foundation Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current marketing communitacion in Czech Olympic Foundation and according to these knowledges to create a project presenting proposals for the improvement of the marketing communication of this organization to increase the efficiency in use of the individual parts of the communication mix and to introduce new unused instruments. Methods: For the evaluation of the marketing communication are chosen both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The method of electronic interrogation with a sample of available respondents is realized. Data collection is carried out thanks to prepared questionnaires which are sent by electronic mail to each interviewee. The method of indepth interview with the manager of the project Czech Olympic Foundation is also used to find out all current communication channels. Title: Marketing research of customer satisfaction in Family Fitness Olgy Šípkové Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to determine customer satisfaction of Family Fitness Olgy Šípkové based on their expectations and perception of actual value of provided services. Collect data based on the survey and then according to the acquired knowledge propose measures and solutions of the problems. Methods: The method of this marketing research is the survey, questionnaire. The sample sizes were defined based on own discretion and easy accessibility. Respondents were sampled by simple random sampling. Results: The result of marketing research is that the customers of Family Fitness are pretty satisfied. Yet there were acknowledge small imperfections. The fitness management should try to fix these problems. There are few measures and solutions in the conclusion. Title: Marketing communication woth fans of softball club playing Women Extraleague Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation of marketing communication of those two softball clubs playing czech women's Extraleague and to create suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of marketing communication of those clubs and general recommendations for the clubs playing this league. Methods: The results of this work were made thanks to qualitative marketing research. The greatest benefit was brought by method of semi-structure interview with club managers and the questionnaire with fans. For more information about current situation of marketing communication was used analysis of documents, especially websites and social media. Then the SWOT analysis was created on the basis of results of non-structure personal observation and the comparison of marketing communication of those clubs was made on the basis of marketing research. Results: The results confirmed opinions of managers that the most used communication channels include social media, web pages and email communication.
