The bachelor thesis is focused on the size of the public sector in selected years and the factors that influence it. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines and characterizes concepts such as public finances, public administration, budget system, revenues and expenditures and factors influencing the size of the public sector. The second part of the thesis contains the development of factors influencing the size of the public sector. The size of the public sector for the selected period is described after characterization of factors influencing the public sector. At the end of the thesis, the factors influencing the public sector and the size of the public sector are compared.

The thesis is focused on the identification of real estate price determinants through a hedonic pricing model. The thesis is focused on understanding of the heterogeneity and complexity of real estate market. For the hedonic pricing models are used selling prices of real estate in New York state from period 2009 to 2016. As determinants of the prices are considered real estate attributes. These attributes are first investigated in several groups, demographic factors, educational attainment, racial structure, environmental characteristics and location. According to partial results, the final model is created, which includes the determinants with the greatest impact on real estate prices. For purpose of this theses the regression method with time effect is used.

Komparace kvality života ve vybraných regionech

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of quality of life in the Centram Bohemia region Usti region from economic aspects. This work is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part characterizes essential terms such as quality of life, ratings of quality of life, and economic indicators. The practical part describes the regions, firstly with the use of basic characteristics, and then the regions are characterized by economic indicators, which were described in the theoretical part. The quality of life was evaluated at the end of my work after the regions were compared to each other.
