Papřok, Richard ; Kotáb, Petr (advisor) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
78 Abstract Financial market and its perspectives The purpose of my thesis is to study financial market and its prospective. The thesis is composed of two main chapters, each of them dealing with different topic concerning financial markets. The reason for my research is that I find both these as highly topical and important. Chapter One deals with indirect holding system. The chapter is divided into eight parts. Part One describes introductory terms, Part Two explains general demands on every national Indirect Holding system, Part Three deals deeply with history which seems to be really exciting. Next five Parts presents international comparison of several systems. Part One deals with the most standard American legislature with attention to voting system, Part Two with English system based on case law and with attention to proposed FMLC legislation. Part Three is devoted to the new Czech proposed system and describes some problems with new legislation. Part Seven focuses on initiative of European Commission and last part deals with two international initiatives. Chapter Two examines new European legislation concerning market in financial instruments. The chapter consists of five parts. Part One describes shortly History of European financial market harmonisation, part two describes so called Lamfalussy...

In the experiments with the massive gas injection (MGI) triggered disruptions in the COMPASS tokamak, post-disruptive runaway electron (RE) beams are generated occasionally. In this contribution, a relatively large set of discharges from the recent years is analysed in order to improve our understanding of the processes behind the beam generation. It seems that despite the low toroidal field applied in the discharges (typically 1.15 T) the magnetic perturbations may be small enough to allow the acceleration and confinement of the electrons. The influence of the different components and different sections of the frequency spectrum of the magnetic perturbations on the beam generation and RE beam current is examined. Fast visible camera images are also analysed. The relevance of COMPASS runaway electron experiments for large machines is discussed. Moreover, the potential of less common diagnostic tools (Cherenkov detector, vertical ECE, ...) to clarify the role of the pre-disruption fast electron population and the influence of prompt runaway electron losses in the current quench is discussed using the recent test measurements.
Anomalous Ion Diffusion in Models of Turbulent Edge Tokamak Plasma
Papřok, Richard ; Krlín, Ladislav (advisor) ; Svoboda, Vojtěch (referee) ; Langer, Jiří (referee)
Enhanced particle and energy transport from edge plasma is observed and may cause a problem for a future operation of a thermonuclear reactor. Plasma edge turbulence presents a complex problem which is not fully theoretically understood. We chose a simple, mathematically simply described potential, which represents first approximation of the realistic one. Resulting dynamics led, for certain class of parameters, to a phenomenon known as Lévy walks, which is the cause of an anomalous enhanced diffusion. It is shown that for typical tokamak's parameters it is in this class and therefore it can be a cause of an anomalous transport in plasma.

On the Character of the Motion of Runaway Electrons in a Time Dependent Magnetic Field from 3D MHD Code JOREK
Papřok, Richard ; Krlín, Ladislav
In our paper we describe our new particle tracking code and we present results of our simulations of trajectories of runaway electrons in a time dependent magnetic feld computed by non-linear 3D MHD code JOREK for the case of pellet injection on Tore Supra tokamak. We show that the character of the resulting motion is not a simple difusion process but rather a sum of a stable motion on the same radius and phases of rapid changes of radial position.
Observation and Prediction of Runaway Electrons in the COMPASS Tokamak
Papřok, R. ; Krlín, Ladislav ; Stöckel, Jan
In this paper we present new measurements of HXR radiation from the COMPASS tokamak by the use of scintillation detector, 21-pinhole CdTe semiconductor detector. This radiation is caused by the presence of highly energetic runaway electrons and in the case of Neutral Beam Injection by fusion products. We also present direct runaway electrons measurements by Cherenkov detector. We present a theoretical prediction of runaway production based on theoretical formula and experimental data from Thomson scattering and compare it with a simpler experimental method based on peak counting.
Simulations of Runaway Electrons
Papřok, R. ; Krlín, Ladislav ; Cahyna, Pavel
In this paper we discuss current knowledge of phenomena of runaway electrons in tokamaks. We summarize experimental facts and investigate theoretical understanding of runaway electrons. We also present result of our recent work concerning influence of JET’s Error Filed Correction Coils on runaway electrons dynamics. At the end of our paper we describe our plan to study runaway electrons dynamic in time and space varying magnetic field during plasma disruption as obtained from global MHD code JOREK.
Pohyb nabitých částic v perturbovaných magnetických polích tokamaku
Papřok, R. ; Krlín, Ladislav ; Cahyna, Pavel ; Riccardo, V.
In this paper we present two Hamiltonian approaches–full and drift–for description of charged particles (e.g. electrons, D+) in magnetic field of a tokamak. We use a basic magnetic toroidal field configuration with shear plus overlapping island chains creating magnetic ergodic layer. We would like to use this apparatus for solving two physical problems. Firstly for an estimate of generation of electric field in edge plasma caused by addition of “ergodic coils”, which could serve as a mechanism for mitigation of ELMs and is will be studied on the COMPASS tokamak. Secondly we want to use the apparatus for tracing the influence on runaway electrons (energy 10 MeV) in the presence of magnetic field generated by Error Field Correction Coils (EFCCs) as are installed on JET Tokamak.
