Piano Education in Spain

The Master's Thesis Piano Education in Spain focuses on the development of the Spanish piano education from the beginning of the 19th century until present. It describes and characterizes general and music education from the pre-school age till adulthood. In the second part, the thesis analyzes historical piano schools and methods of P. Albéniz, E. Compta, P. Tintorer and R. Montalbán which influenced piano pedagogy the most. It also deals with current Spanish piano schools of C. Pérez and M. Carra and with foreign mainly American piano schools and methods of J. Thompson, J. Bastien and F. Clark. In the final part, the thesis draws attention to the current situation of music schools and conservatories and the reaction of the teachers to this situation. Since there is no publication in the Czech language concerning this topic, the aim of the thesis is to introduce to the Czech professional public the topic of Spanish piano education development, the current situation and to introduce piano books for beginners which are not known in the Czech Republic.
J. S. Bach and His Piano Pieces for Music Art Schools

The thesis "J. S. Bach and His Piano Pieces for Music Art Schools" is focused on interpretation of the piano music of Johann Sebastian Bach. For the right understanding of the composer's musical narratives, it is necessary to acquire the basic knowledge and principles of the music theory in the Baroque era and to become familiar with the environment in which this extraordinary composer had been professionally developing and composing. This musician is presented here as the founder of a modern fingering whose musical language brought a change into musical thinking and he became inspiration and a role model for composers of the next centuries. This thesis highlights the importance of appropriately selected musical materials in piano teaching and it prefers the performance to be as authentic as possible. The main purpose of this paper is to update the knowledge of methodology and to find a comprehensive guide to a correct understanding of musical language of this genius that would help the music teachers introduce to pupils the beauty and timelessness of Bach's musical work and that would motivate them to other musical discoveries and make them desire to be further educated in music.
Béla Bartók's piano work and his use for piano pedagogy

Title: Béla Bartók's piano work and its use for piano pedagogy Abstract: Work is the subject of Bartók's piano works, focusing on his compositions useful for teaching purposes. Its aim is to summarize the piano piece and update, partially characterized in terms of compositional techniques used. For works with the pedagogical focus of analysis method was used track leading to the seizure of songs from a pedagogical point of view. From this perspective, it also presents the impact of teacher studies focused on the development track pupil various components of music perception and thinking "about music" and "the music". The work presented and the possibility of picking up and work on Bartók's piano-teaching works in the educational process.

This bachelor thesis is mainly about Pancho Vladigero 's piano works. First chapter is dedicated to his life, which is a chronological breakdown. In the second chapter is composers work breakdown which is focused on his piano compositions. Third chapter is devoted to P. Vladigerov 's foundation, his pedagogical activity and other Bulgarian composers of the twentieth century. Vladigerov 's work is a huge contribution to Bulgarian music literature and culture. The goal of my bachelor thesis is to introduce this composer to wider audience not only in Bulgaria, but also increase his popularity in the world. P. Vladigerov's work has huge artistic value.
Eduard Douša's Piano Music

The subject of the thesis is piano works of the contemporary composer Eduard Douša. The aim of the thesis was to incorporate the composer in the context of the Czech (Czechoslovak) music of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. The thesis further describes the development of the composer's piano works for more than forty years. Individual features of piano music were studied from the following points of view: a) complex analysis considering tectonic, harmonic, melodic, polyphonic and stylisation aspects b) research focussed on the didactic aspects - namely with regard to Eduard Douša's comprehensive instructive piano literature c) the viewpoint of interpretation, as the author of the thesis is simultaneously an interpret of contemporary music and her repertoire includes a wide range of both concert and chamber pieces of Eduard Douša. The result of the thesis is the characteristics of the composer's music and its incorporation in the context of music development. The thesis further reflects historical background related to the composer's life. Analytical parts of the work are provided with extracts from Douša's pieces and the appendix contains the list of piano works and complete works of Eduard Douša. My bachelor thesis concerns the life of Robert Schumann and his piano cycles composed between 1845 - 1850, i. e. Album for the Young (Album für die Jugend) op. 68, Forest Scenes (Waldszenen) op. 82 and Multicolored Pages (Bunte Blätter) op. 99. The aim of this work is to put these cycles into the context of Schumann's life and his life-work, find the sources of inspiration and describe their role both from interpretational and instructive perspective.
Works for Piano of Václav Jan Tomášek and Use at Piano Education i n Basic Music Schools

This theses consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents life and work of Václav Jan Tomášek and characterizes the historical context. The second chapter deals with practical use of his compositions for students at music schools and also brings to light songs of Tomášek which can be used in chamber music education. The third chapter deals with music project as a modern concept in education. Fourth chapter describes music survey and its evaluation. This work schould provide deeper knowledge about Czech music composer V. J. K. Tomášek and his piano work.
Armenian piano literature focused on instructive literature

The first chapter summarizes important events of the history of Armenia from the ancient times to the present. Following chapters describes Armenian musical culture and Armenian piano music. The last chapter intended to be the most important, it tries to characterize giants of Armenian music and their most important works.
