Developmental Morphogenesis of Outer Gills in vertebrates

This study is focused on external respiratory structures of vertebrate larvae. Developmental morphogenesis of the external gills of Senegal bichir (Polypterus senegalus) and Mexican axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) was examined together with development of external gill filaments of weather loach (Misgurnus fossilis). Scanning electron microscopy was used to describe external aspects of developmental formation of outer gill structures and classic histology and cryosections with imunohistochemical staining helped to understand internal morphology and developing tissue context. My data revealed that external respiratory structures are in each species formed by dissimilar developmental modes which can clearly be characterized by tissue-specific formation. Whereas external gill filaments of weather loach were found to develop as simple filamentous prolongations of outer ectoderm, in the Mexican axolotl instead, major components of external gill formation seem to be mesenchyme of neural crest and mesoderm origin, which differentiate into extensive connective tissue and muscles, respectively. Research of Cenozoic fish faunae of the selected localities of the Czech Republic

The submitted PhD thesis is presented as a collection of commentaries of fish faunas and its paleoecology at 10 selected localities of Czech Republic. The results were supported by specimens also from other geographical regions. The fish faunae were studied on following localities: Kel , Rožnov pod Radhošt m, Liten ice, Krumví , Vážany nad Litavou, Strachotín, Opava - Kate inky, Ku lín u Bíliny, By ov and Bechlejovice. The summarized results: a) There were recognized direct evidences about feeding habits in following taxa from Menilitic and Ždánice-Hustope e formations: Scopeloides glarisianus, Anenchelum glarisianum, Lepidopus glarisianus, Trachinus minutus, Serranus budensis, Merluccius latus, Oligophus moravicus. b) The partial trophic diagram has been constructed within Menilitic and Ždánice-Hustope e formations (for the region of the Czech Republic). The first trophic assemblage (group A) is composed of species Scopeloides glarisianu, Anenchelum glarisianum, respectively Lepidopus glarisianus, gadiform fishes and invertebrate members. The second one (group B) is characterized by species Serranus budensis, argentinid fishes and in some part of European region (e.g. in Poland) also genus Holosteus. The role of the first (re)lapse in the aftercare - client's and therapist's views

On the background of the attachment in the aftercare center and interest in relapse prevention I chose the question if the first (re)lapse plays some role in the aftercare and what role is it for the topic of my bachelor work. The aims are to map and compare clients' and therapists' views on the same event of the client's first (re)lapse; emphasize that the first (re)lapse needn't to lead to the original stage of addictive behaviour but on the contrary can play a positive role in client's life and process of the aftercare; and critically assess the current status of using of the relapse prevention terminology in practice. (...) All clients of the aftercare center create the basic sample. Two clients were chosen to the sample, experienced a (re)lapse during their aftercare, processed it with the therapists and continue in the programme. The interviews were realized with clients' therapists. The statements of clients and therapists are not too different. There is the question if similar views are result of their joint work or if the clients are under the influence of the opinions of the therapists that they describe an event in this way. Dielectric properties of thermally aged slot insulations

Bachelor's thesis monitor changes in the basic properties of dielectric isolation on the basis of polyester film during the humidity changes. The samples of material were measured time according rechargeable inab and dischargable ivyb currents in humidities 0 %, 33 %, 75 %, 95 % and ambient temperature. Further work is monitored by the time dependence of internal rezistivity depending on the time of ageing and relative humidity. The subject of experiments is material ISONOM NKN 2039 companie ISOVOLTA Elektroisolierstaffe.

Dielectric absorption characteristics of stressed slot insulations

Master's thesis is monitoring changes in basic dielectric properties. Monitoring changes in absorbency of characteristics and temporal dependences in rezistance with change of relative humidity. On the colection samples were measured temporal dependences charged and uncharged currents in ambient temperature and 0%, 55%, 75%, 95% relative humidity. The next part of my work is monitoring temporal dependences interior rezistance in the time of ageing in different humidities. Experiments were made on material ISONOM NKN and NMN.
