The apartment building is designed as a basement with four floors. In the basement, there are three separate garages, storage rooms, and rooms for the technical operation of the building. A total of eight residential units are designed on the upper floors. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace. Barrier-free vertical transport is provided by an elevator located in the mirror of the staircase. The building is based on a reinforced concrete foundation slab. The vertical structures are made of sand-lime masonry. Horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete monolithic. The roof of the building is the gable. The apartment house is insulated with mineral wool insulation.
Restaurant chalupa
Pavíčková, Kristina ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The main aim of this master’s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new restaurant Chalupa. Building is situated in area of the local camp on the edge of the town called Mořkov. The building has one above-ground floor and a partial basement. On above-ground floor, there are two main parts: restaurant and kitchen. Then there are also private room and sanitary facilities for both customers and staff. The building is designed as a CLT superstructure and has a gable roof. The vertical loadbearing structures and non-loadbearing walls are designed of CLT panels. The horizontal loadbearing structures are designed of reinforced cast-in-place concrete slab. Heating energy is supplied by pellet boiler. Ventilation is provided by air conditioning unit. Shading is provided by external louvers. In the third pard, I am creating the facility management plan for this building. The project and visualizations were carried out in the Autocad program.
Kindergarten Pastelka
Brandtnerová, Jana ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of my master's project is to design a new building of kindergarden with nearly zero energy consumption. The project consists of three main parts. The first part is to create project documentation. The building is designed regarding to architectural expression. The kindergarden is split into two departments each for twenty children. It is single storey building with saddle roof. It is based on concrete foundation and under them there is foam glass. External walls are made of sand-lime blocks which are insulated with a contact thermal insulation system. The second part is to assess the energy performance of the building and usage of energy from renewable sources. The building uses ground source heat pump as a heating, air is provided by mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and eleckricity is partly provided by a photovoltaic system. The last part of master's project evaluates the building by the method of multi–criteria analysis. For this evaluation I used national method SBToolCZ.
Apartment house Žlíbky
Sukop, Lukáš ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for a new apartment building in Brno in the Chrlice district in the South Moravian Region. The apartment building is located in the cadastral area of Brno - Chrlice, parcel number 1571/2. The solved object is a partially basement building with four above-ground floors. There are a total of 12 apartments on the upper floors. In the basement there are common areas of home equipment. The apartments on the upper floors, except for the first one, are equipped with balconies accessible from the bedrooms and living rooms. The apartments on the top floor are also equipped with terraces. The building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. The construction system of the building is a two-way wall. Vertical load-bearing structures are designed from brick blocks, horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete. The building is covered with a flat single-skin roof. The bachelor thesis consists of the main text part and the appendix part.
Apartment house Horní
Pavlovský, David ; Šteffek,, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor‘s thesis is the design of a new apartment building with almost zero energy consumption and the elaboration of project documentation for the construction. The apartment building is located in city part Štýřice in Brno. It is a detached building located on a sloping terrain. The building consists of three floors and one floor partially embedded into the terrain. The basement will serve as storage space with technical utilities and collective garage. Rest of the apartment house will serve for housing. . In the apartment building are 14 flats. The building is based on foundation strips made of reinforced concrete. Construciton of vertical supporting are made of ceramic block Porotherm. The ceilings are from prefabricated panels Spiroll. The roof of the building consists of a flat roof with a vegetation layer.
Apartment house in Pohořelice
Blümelová, Adéla ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design and develop project documentation for a new apartment building. The apartment house is located on a plot in Pohořelice. The building is designed as a free-standing building with four above-ground floors and one basement. The basement of the floor plan extends above the ground floor, there is a collective garage, a common room, cellar and technical facilities. There are eleven residential units on the upper floors. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace. The apartment building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips and footings. Perimeter masonry in the basement is made of concrete blocks and in the upper floors of ceramic blocks of THERM type. The internal load-bearing masonry is also made of ceramic blocks. In the basement in the garage area, the construction system consists of reinforced concrete columns and girders. The ceiling structure is made of prestressed ceiling panels. The staircase is prefabricated, as are the balconies. An elevator is located between the arms of the staircase. The roof is flat, vegetative. The building envelope is insulated with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system.
SIMULATION OF ENERGY PERFORMANCE AND REAL OPERATION OF BUILDINGS
Šteffek, Libor ; Ingeli,, Rastislav (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
This dissertation thesis primarily focuses on the experimental measurement of energy consumption of a given energy-passive family house as well as theoretical research in the field of energy calculations using computer simulations. The results of quasi-stationary and dynamic simulations, with varying computational and real-time climate data, are compared with experimental measurements. Using the dynamic calculation model, which was validated by actually measured data, the relationship between architectural design and the energy performance of the building was analyzed. The influence of selected different operating modes for heat consumption on heating, cooling, ventilation, and interior overheating is observed. The result of the mutual interaction of several input parameters of variant solutions provides the basis for optimization of the whole design.
Reflective insulations for effective use in low energy buildings
Kalánek, Jiří ; Ingeli,, Rastislav (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The dissertation thesis is focused on thermal insulating properties of reflective insulation under boundary conditions typical for low-energy buildings. In the introductory part of this thesis the attention is focused on the heat transfer process. There is described primarily heat transfer by radiation. There is also described the reflective insulation and the methods of determination their thermal performance. The remaining part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the results obtained in experimental measurements. Measurement results are compared with the calculation model. Conclusions for technical practice including possibilities of further research are summarized in the final section.
