Jiří Ondráček DEPARTMENT: Pedagogy Department, Charles University - Faculty of Education THESIS MENTOR: PhDr. Marie Linková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The topic of this thesis is school climate and relationships among teaching staff influencing it. The theoretical part includes explanation of the terms climate and school climate, and defines differences between school environment and school culture. An important part is school as an institution and an organisation as well. Theoretical part also defines school climate and its typology. It identifies requirements for a positive school climate and factors influencing it (subjective, objective). The thesis is also focused on research of the school climate itself, the history of research and particular research methods (various queationairres, SWOT analysis, school map, etc.). A very important component of the theoretical part is the description of relationships (climate) among the teaching staff. It defines the teaching team, personality of a pedagogical worker, personalities of teachers, their typology and authority. The theoretical part focuses on defining terms as class climate, class atmosphere, and class environment. An important element of the thesis is climate of the class, its typology, creators and everyone affecting the class climate. Large part of the thesis is dedicated to factors creating class climate. In general to all the teachers, more specifically class teachers, but also pupils themselves and their parents. Practical part of the thesis is focused on research of class climate. It compares the picture of the class climate from different points of view, the teachers' and pupils' points of view. It compares class climate in a small school, large town school and a private sports school. Last, but not least it brings a comparison of view on the class climate from the point of view of boys and girls. Time is a quantity that we can never influence. Each of us perceives time in different and subjective ways. Due to camera technology and its possibility to transform image into the screen, we are able to cause desired perception of time. Essence of this illusion can be compared to a magician trick. As the magician must know his tricks, cinematographer should always control his art.

International comparison of the tax base of personal income

Method of defining the tax base is important for the correct determination of the amount of tax. With taxes on personal income is closely related to health insurance and social security burden on the same taxpayer income as the income tax. Relation between the income tax and health insurance and social security may be different. The work discusses how should be a tax base of personal income according to the theory and then defined three models of the income tax base with regard to (non) inclusion and (non) deductibility of insurance premiums from the tax base, which are used in subsequent analysis of labor income taxation in OECD. In the Czech Republic, the issue is very obsolete since the tax reform in 2008. From this year is the taxable income of individuals "super salary". The tax reform in 2015 will be again a change in the income tax base. The work is examined in detail legislative development of personal income tax between years 2008 and 2015. In the final part is analyzed creation of the tax base in individual OECD countries. Countries are classified according to the method of determining the tax base. The analysis showed that the most widely used model of tax base is a narrow tax base. Although broad tax base uses a 5 OECD members countries. In Hungary has broad tax base exactly the same form as in the Czech Republic. However, elements of a broad tax base can be found in other countries.

Steadicam and its usage in filmmaking

Objective of this thesis is to familiarize the reader with a steadicam stabilizing device and its usage in filmmaking. My aim is to inform the reader about the technology in general, the principles in use, and also about the aesthetic qualities of various steadicam shots. Chapters about history of moving camera and an analysis of a shot showing the device potencial supplement the thesis. It is my hope that the thesis provides the reader with sufficient information about steadicam needed for his/her profession of a director of photography.
