Minors' Experience Analysis of Romanticized or Sexualized Contact with an Educator
Mašková, Kateřina ; Onder, Jakub (advisor) ; Krejčí, Josef (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of romanticized and sexualized contact of minor students and their adult educators which is being dominantly silenced in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. Theoretical part of the thesis presents psychological aspects of the developmental period of adolescence and of the pedagogical profession, discusses the issue of crossing professional boundaries by an educator and finally defines a specific subtype of educator sexual misconduct: educator sexual abuse of minor students in the form of a mutual sexualized type of a contact. The focus of the empirical part of the thesis is a research project framed by constructivist ontology, feminist epistemology and phenomenological metodology. The research project is an interpretative phenomenological analysis of the experience of five adult women who experienced romanticized or sexualized contact with their educator during adolescence. The purpose of the research was to gain an in-depth understanding of its participants' experiences both from their former adolescent perspective and their contemporary adult perspective and to capture any possible change of their mind during the given period concerning their own experiences. Currently, all five research participants consider...
Construction of intencionality by adolescent deliquents
Onder, Jakub ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Chrz, Vladimír (referee)
In this paper I will be mapping so-called intentional profile of juvenile delinquents. This is way of their perception and experience of surrounding world, how they apply significance and how they think about it. Part of this profile is idea of role and participation within the frame of this world. Next goal of this research is explanation of delinquent behavior as part of intentional profile. Research took place in youth detention center. It consisted of narrative and discourse analysis of four fifty minute long autobiographic interviews with four boys sixteen or seventeen years old with delinquent past. In interviews was emphasized independent selection of subject by respondents themselves. Result of analysis was formation of so-called theory of egocentrism. This theory has been compared with other theories and research and embodied in context of social sciences in second part of this paper. Egocentrism is compared with splitting defense mechanism according to M. Klein. In conclusion of this paper were formulated psychotherapeutic recommendations for employees of youth detention centers for work with juvenile delinquents based on findings of performed research.
Blues from the Inside: Analysis of the Experience of Blues Musicians
Lazar, Jan ; Chrz, Vladimír (advisor) ; Onder, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine, how the blues is experienced and percepted by people, who produce it. There are two kinds of research data: extensive and intensive. In the extensive part of the research a large group of musicians producing blues and blues listeners were questioned in a survey. In the following intensive phase of the research a part of respondents wrote a text on the topic: "What does the blues mean to me". Through qualitative approach, I analysed 16 texts with the goal to present the phenomenological description capturing the both variability and recurring patterns of how the examined musicians experience the blues. This phenomenological description ("blues from the inside") will be confronted with various theoretic conceptions. Central conception of this work is the framework of analytical psychology, especially unitary reality by E. Neumann and transcendence function by C. G. Jung. KEYWORDS Blues, phenomenology, depth psychology, experience, meaning
Music Influence on Visual Short-Term Memory
Kryvko, Viktoriia ; Preiss, Marek (advisor) ; Onder, Jakub (referee)
Music is an essential part of everyone's life. We listen to her almost every day and we know that she has some influence on us. What is interesting to me personally is how music affects our cognitive abilities, especially short-term memory. The theoretical part of the work is based mainly on contemporary research in memory and new theories of memory. The aim of this work is to find correlations between performance in the short-term visual memory test and the presence of text in the music that accompanies the test. Respondents were tested using the Short Neuropsychological Battery, subtest Copy of image (Straková, Věchetová, Dvořáková, Orlíková and Preiss, 2020). The total number of respondents is 120, they are people without cognitive problems. Age group 18 to 50 years. The results of our research show that music has a negative effect on performance in the short-term visual memory test. Music with words is more disturbing and has a greater negative effect than the melody itself without words. The best performance is manifested in a quiet environment. During the research, new ideas emerged, and therefore the practical part has one branch, focused on the use of mnemonics during memorization, the number of respondents is 87. At the end of this work, I present the difficulties that arose during the...

Title: Identity and intentioanlity construction by delinquents Author: Mgr. Jakub Onder, Ph.D. Department: Department of psychology, PedF UK Supervisor: doc. PhDr. Irena Smetáčková, Ph.D. Abstract: Delinquency represents a social issue of considerable importance. However, not as much attention is paid to antisocial individuals in psychology in relation to research as needed. In order to discern the causes of delinquency and to propose pedagogic and psychologic prevention actions, it is necessary to examine in detail the way de- linquents see the world around them and themselves. In my work, I present qualitati- ve research in the identity and intentionality of delinquents which is based on the ana- lysis of the interviews with five incarcerated persons, recidivists, at the age of 25 - 35, and also on the study of their Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) performances. For the analysis of TAT, I used a psychoanalytical approach in accordance with the manual which was translated into Czech in 2019. The result of the research is a des- cription of found identity, intentionality, and also the so-called theory of retribution. Another result is the description of the structure and dynamics of their personality from psychoanalytic point of view. Keywords: Delinquency, identity, mentalization, borderline personality...

Analysis of experience of people with bipolar disorder
Dally, Andrea ; Onder, Jakub (advisor) ; Chrz, Vladimír (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to increase the transparency and credibility of the data obtained in the diploma thesis. In the diploma thesis, the process of learning to live with bipolar disorder was mapped via grounded theory method. The original thesis has a lack of transparency of the data processing which makes the findings less valid. Another aim of this thesis is to describe the methodology of the AKTIBIPO400 clinical study which is taken part by the participants of the diploma thesis and to evaluate the possible impact of the study on the results of the diploma thesis. The theoretical part of the original thesis has been completely sustained. It discusses the historical and current approach to bipolar disorder, it's clinical course and treatment options. The empirical part of the original thesis has been modified as the data processing procedure is presented in detail. Specifically, the thesis now contains a description of a self-reflection during the data analysis, the usage of the Atlas.ti software and the individual phases of data processing (data conceptualization, data categorization and theory construction). The modifications also include a new appendix which presents examples of the data processing phases. Another modification is focused on a more detailed population description....
