International labour migration and working foreigners in the Czech Republic during the period of the global economical crisis of 2008 - 2012

The dissertation thesis is aimed at actual topic of the international labour migration and working foreigners in the Czech Republic in the period of the global economical crisis between 2008 and 2012. It is an empirical research that comes out from the qualitative and quantitative study of the topic. The subject of the research were working foreigners. We differ foreigners in the position of employees and businessmen as well as foreigners from the European Economic Area and Switzerland and so called third countries. In the work we also focus on the statistical data both from their availability and interpretation point of view and also from the volume of flows of international labour migration and the stock of working foreigners in the Czech Republic. Selected indicators were also used to study spatial distribution of working foreigners in the Czech Republic including its factors from political, social, economic, geographic, demographic or cultural areas. The study was carried out by applying qualitative and quantitative correlation and regression analyses. Analyzes of the internal migration of foreigners in the region Ceske Budejovice

The work deals with the analysis of internal migration of foreigners in the South Region. In this work is examined internal migration of three groups of foreigners. These groups are Ukrainians, Slovaks and Vietnamese. In the introductory part of this thesis is described the development of gradual migration of foreigners, their distribution and involvement in internal migration in the Czech Republic. This is followed by describing the South Region. This chapter describes the distribution of foreigners and are mentioned the possible factors that influence the decisions of foreigners. The main part of this thesis is a survey that examines the case of foreigners and their migration history. In this work, the region is defined by areas accessible to the community of České Budějovice and there are investigated differences inside and outside of the region. Thanks to questionnaire research we obtain information about the movement of foreigners as well as the motivation of these movements. Questionnaire survey also found out whether the migratory behavior of foreigners could be sorted into theoretical concepts
Internal Migration of Vietnamese - Case Study of Teplicko Region

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to analyze an internal migration of Vietnamese in the region Teplice. In first section are described important waves of migration from Vietnam to the Czech Republic. After that are compared three groups of immigrants (Ukrainians, Vietnamese and Russians) by the quantitative methods. They are compared in the terms of demographic, socio-economic and spatial distribution. In main part are analyzed structured interviews with Vietnamese. Thanks to that, we can recognize their reasons for immigration, their internal mobility and their future plans of moving. A part of this work is focused on relationship between the province of origin of Vietnamese and their migration or on relationship of the capital city Prague as a gateway city.
