International system of football: international migration of Czech football players and the role of players' agents

The aim of the thesis is to bring more insight into the international organization of football. The scope of the analysis is the institutional framework of football and migration of professional football players. And in particular functioning and struggle between and within the world's football governing body FIFA and the EU. More stress is devoted to the process of migration of players at the global as well as European levels, and the structural development of the migration of the Czech players abroad. The former is analyzed for the last few years, while the latter between the seasons of 1993/94 and 2007/08. The focus is also given to the study of mechanism of international migration, which tries to reveal the role of the FIFA player's agents in the international transfers of the Czech players. The results of this work are based on data obtained from the internet databases containing information about foreign engagement of players and on a number of interviews with the Czech FIFA players' agents and their assistants. These were organized by the author during his original research. Formation of new identity and symbols of the Czech society in 1989-1993 (Analysis in terms of the concept of civil religion)

The thesis tries to prove applicability of the concept "civil religion" to the Czech society. After presentation of the concept of civil religion originating from R. Bellah, civil society and legitimization (grounded in the ideas of J. Přibáň) the addresses of president V. Havel and the articles from the selected newspapers of that period are analysed. In 1989-1993 as the transformative and crisis period one can observe the debate about the necessity of creating a civil society, finding a way of legitimizing the new condition and creating a new collective identity. Focusing on the individual and the citizenship following from the analysed articles constitutes the societal fundaments; and in these fundaments, thanks to "civil religion", there are recognized the transcendent component and the universality that both convey unifying potential and can be presented in a particular form through myths.

The Life-Style of Teachers of Physical Education

V současné době je otázka životního stylu velice aktuální. Výzkumy týkající se životního stylu obyvatel České republiky přinášejí znepokojivé výsledky. Všeobecně se hovoří o společnosti, která upřednostňuje konzumní způsob života podporovaný médii a volný čas tráví spíše pasivním než aktivním způsobem. Závažná zdravotní onemocnění, která dnešní populaci postihují, souvisejí také se špatnými stravovacími návyky a nedostatkem pohybu. Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice životního stylu učitelů základních a středních škol. Učitel by měl být pro své žáky a studenty vzorem, protože je nejen vzdělává, ale i vychovává. Ne pouze slovy, ale celou svou osobností a způsobem života by jim měl být dobrým příkladem. Právě učitel tělesné výchovy funguje jako motivační činitel v oblasti pohybové aktivity a sportu. V diplomové práci se zaměřuji na životní styl učitelů tělesné výchovy a porovnávám ho se životním stylem učitelů ostatních vyučovacích předmětů. Zjišťuji, jaký význam přikládají učitelé pohybovým a sportovním aktivitám a jak je pro ně důležité dodržovat zásady zdravého životního stylu.
