Assessing Selected Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is analysis of the financial situation of Delong Instruments a.s. with the help of financial and statistical analysis of the data which were obtained from the company's financial statements. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part contains the theoretical starting points, which will help the reader to get acquainted with the problems and technical terms of the bachelor thesis. In the second part we will find all the calculations of the indicators and analyzes for Delong Instruments a.s. The last part, using the results of the indicators and analyzes, summarizes the economical situation of the company and provides suggestions for its improvement. Part of the work is also a program for calculating economic indicators in the VBA language.

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of fuzzy logic for evaluation of forklift suppliers. The output of the thesis will be a mathematical model that will facilitate selection of suitable forklift for company Tam a zpět, s.r.o. in warehouse use. This model will be designed based on conditions and criteria set by the company. This work will be processed using MS Excel and Matlab.

Methods of imaging and analysis of biological specimens

Bachelor thesis deals with characterization of human tissues and bacteria from the microscopic point of view. Physical principles of SNOM and electron microscopy (TEM, SEM, ESEM), together with their suitability for observing of biological specimens, were presented. In the next section, there is focus on data transformation from electron microscopy from time plane to image plane and their following processing. Next section is about experimental preparation of specimens for observing in SEM, ESEM and SNOM. Currently there is an idea to use scanning near-field optical microscope for biological research. That is why the goal of this thesis is compare SNOM and EM techniques, mentioned above. In this thesis we try to use SNOM as a cheaper option than EM in the observation of biological specimens. EM and SNOM allow obtaining different, however comparable and complementary information of the specimen.

This Bachelor`s thesis focus is the assessment of financial indicators through time series and regression line of the chosen company. Theoretical part consists of definitions and mathematical calculations for the chosen financial indicators, regressions analysis, and time series. In the second part, the theoretical knowledge will be applied to the chosen company, starting with the calculations of financial indicators and applications of statistical methods thereafter. Finally, recommendations will be presented to try and help with the company`s situation based on the analysis made beforehand.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of economic indicators of the company Technos, a.s,. using statistical methods. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of thesis is focused to description of selected economic indicators and selected statistical methods. The practical part deals with the actual analysis of selected economic indicators of company, which will be used to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the company and try, using statistical methods, to predict future development. The following part of the thesis are proposals for improving the problems and situation of the company.

My thesis is focused on analyzation of Apple inc. and its competitors, that I am going to choose according to predetermined specificities. On the basic of theoretical knowledge I am going to make a technical analysis of stocks. Based on the results I am going to determine recommendations to investors and I am going to compare them with the real results. In Miscrosoft Visual basic I am going to create a program with technical indicators that I will use.

The diploma thesis called Cluster Analysis Czech 100 Companies on the Basis of Financial Statements deals with the testing of two hypotheses using a multidimensional statistical method - cluster analysis. The input data for the application of statistical methods are financial statements of selected companies for the years 2014 and 2015 which are publicly available. These data are digitized and subjected to methods of financial analysis.
