New build of shopping center

This thesis is decribing documentation of brand new shopping center building at the terms of project specification for the building permit. There are requirements set to the draft for the layout of the building in connection with ensuring construction in terms of static, thermal technical, fire safety, energy saving and safety in usage. The project is created in software AutoCad, the calculation for the assessment of thermal properties is created in the software Teplo a Ztráty. Calculation for the fire safety and static calculation of reinforced concrete panel is processed by manual calculation.

Possibilities of dispersed reinforcement for lightweight concrete

Master´s thesis deals with some problems associated with utilisation of lightweight concrete from the porous aggregates in the load – carrying structures. The thesis focuses on the possibilities of the increase of the cement composites toughness using dispersed reinforcement. Lightweight concretes were reinforced with a combination of different lengths of polypropylene fibers Forta Ferro. There were used polypropylene fibers of three lengths 19, 38, 54 mm. The thesis is divided into theoretical, experimental and static part.

It includes theoretical knowledge in the range of financing, analysis of the current situation and proposal for implementation of the project.

Risk analysis and evaluation of sources of public water supply

The thesis is focused on the identification, quantification and assessment of risks in the supply of drinking water, the application of appropriate methods for specific public water supply, the environment and operation. WaterRisk method based on EN 31010 Risk Management - Techniques of risk assessment methods are chosen - analysis of possible defects and their consequences (FMEA), Pareto diagram and Ishikawa diagram. The aim of the thesis is analyze and assess the quality, environmental and safety risks to the public water supply system and use tools for their management and elimination. The results will be compared and evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of each analysis.

Study of the Supply Process in a Trading Company

The diploma thesis deals with the study of the supply process in the chosen company, which mainly deals with the purchase and sale of cleaning machines and equipment. The thesis presents a proposal to improve the Supply Chain, with an emphasis on streamlining traffic, while at the same time making it possible to streamline customer service by designing a website. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part includes all the theoretical starting points, from which the analytical part starts. This part is mainly consists of analyzing the state of the company by using appropriate methods. On the basis of the shortcomings identified, the third part discusses suggestions for improving the processes that will contribute to their improvement, increasing the competitiveness of the company and increasing the value for the customer.

The Filtration Media in Water Treatment

This bachelor thesis mainly deals with filter media for treatment of drinking water, their properties, uses and try to imagine new possibilities for choosing of filter materials on the market. To better understand the use of materials in water filtration, the work deals with the local water filtration generally. These are mainly slow biological filtration and high-rate filtraion, but there is also described the possibility of further filtration through a granular material such as sand filtration pressure. Finally, Here is described also increasingly developing membrane technology. In the laboratory practical part deals with on the pressure loss on the filter, which were selected by the filter material obtained device model filtration column. These data are, in practice, an important indicator for the selection of filter material according to traffic needs.

Mediation in civil matters

- Mediation in civil matters The purpose of the thesis is detailed analys of mediation as the type of alternative dispute resolution, its basic principles and elements, all in confrontation with Czech legal enactment of mediation and in connection with other legislation. The thesis should provide an overview of implanting the mediation into the legal system of Czech Republic, interconnetion with concerned branches of law, especially with Civil Procedural Law. The reflections of the author are focused especially on the question, if the recent legislative regulation of mediation in Czech Republic helps to establish mediation as the standard and demanded type of dispute resolution in the eyes of both professional and laic public, there are also the reasoning on the alternative variants of legal regulation of mediation and reflections de lege ferenda contained. The first chapter presents the ADR as the set of procedures different from court proceedings determined to dispute settlement, among which the mediation belongs too. The purpose of this part of the thesis was especially comparison of the mediation with other types of alternative dispute resolution, particularly the arbitration. The interest of nurses to apply a holistic approach in practice with regard to the current state of nursing

The theme was chosen on the basis of their own experience, when new treatments, tools and nurses appear in the workplace, which are also required to constantly improve the quality of nursing care. The state approach to the patient forms the philosophical basis of nursing care. To give nurses of quality pastry about the bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs of the patient, it is necessary to have the knowledge, conditions and personal relationship to provide holistic care. At present, it is not possible that these are health and safety risk factors. Aims, research questions and hypotheses: The subject of the research is to find out the interest of nurses to apply a holistic approach in practice considering the current situation in nursing. Three objectives were set based on the subject of the research. Goal 1: Find out, if nurses are interested in providing modern nursing care based on patient needs. Goal 2: Identify nurses' personal views on providing holistic care. Goal 3: Determine the satisfaction level among nurses about the nursing care provided with regard to the current situation in practice. Methods and research file: Quantitative data collection method was used for the research. Anonymous questionnaire was distributed to nurses in selected healthcare facilities (Liberec Hospital, Turnov Hospital, Jablonec nad Nisou Hospital). The survey sample size is 180 respondents. Findings and conclusion: It follows from the research, that more than half of the respondents have already encountered the concept of holistic nursing care and they also understand what needs should be met by patients/clients and how to satisfy them. Some of them have already used the help of a social service or psychologist. However, it has turned out, that more than half of the responding nurses are not interested in spiritual needs. It has not been confirmed, that nurses' interest in providing this modern nursing care based on patient needs would depend on capacity of staff. The survey also shows, that the holistic care is provided in their hospitals according to one third of responding nurses. Nevertheless, the respondents think, that a holistic approach cannot be applied in their workplace because of lack of time, lack of staff and time consuming administration. Based on the results of Hypothesis 2, we can confirm, that nurses' opinion on the implementation of noursing care provided is influenced by the workload of nurses. The holistic approach moderately affects the job satisfaction level of nurses according to the survey. However, more than half of the responding nurses are satisfied with care they provide at their workplace, because they can see satisfied patients/clients. Hypothesis 3 has not proved any relationship between the satisfaction level of nurses and current situation in health care, where a holistic approach can be effectively applied. There will be a seminar for general nurses within the lifelong learning of nurses focusing on holistic care as an outcome of this diploma thesis.

The World of Wood. Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School.

The teoretical part of the thesis provides a discussion on the creative work with wood and focuses on wood as a traditional material, which plays a fundamental role not only in the lives of humans, but also in the visual arts culture. This part further discusses the application of this topic in the art and design education with special reference to the relevant educational curricular documentation, methodology of art education through projects and the cross-curriculum relation with eviromental education. The practical part of the thesis was realised in the 2nd class of the Komensky primary school in the town Dačice, the Czech Republic. This part introduces a creative project centred on the topic of wood while discussing its applicability for the art and design education at the lower primary schools. The project consists of the seven creative lessons as a part of the regular art education, which are duly elaborated upon in the practical part.
