GPS data usability in mobile robot navigation problem
Novák, Pavel ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focused on problems of the GPS/DGPS receiver precision used by mobile robot for navigation in outdoor environment. The first part deals with theoretical analysis of GPS, description of it´s functions, errors and their influence on measurements accuracy. Second part deals with practical measurements performed at two locations with different types of obstacles restricting the view to the sky and using the refining methods of measuring the DGPS or so-called differential GPS. The last part of study presents the measured results and its analysis.
Power Increasing of Serial Combustion Engines
Novák, Pavel ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis is presented suvey of technical resolution for power increasing of serial combustion engines. The work is oriented especially on technical resolution for spark ignition engine and diesel engine. First two chapters says obout way of combustion process and obout creation the fuel mixture of spark ignition engine and diesel engine. In other chapters is described change length of suck pipeline, mechanical and turbo boosting engine and variable valve timing which is depended on the engine load. At the close there is short muse obout future in tecnical development.
Customer Profitability Analysis Based on Activity Based Costing
Neuvirt, Jan ; Král, Bohumil (advisor) ; Novák, Pavel (referee)
Master thesis "Customer Profitability Analysis Based on Activity Based Costing" describes opportunities of customer profitability analysis and activity based costing management. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on description of activity based costing, advantages and disadvantages, implementation and use for customer profitability analysis. In the practical part of the thesis I have used theoretical background in trade company E-centrum, a. s. For the company I prepared complete customer profitability analysis and activity based costing model. Based on the analysis I suggested many recommendations for the company.
Business and cultural specifics of Albania
Netíková, Kateřina ; Müllerová, Františka (advisor) ; Novák, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to explain the specifics of Albania in the business and cultural area, also helpful for business and tourism. The first chapter introduces Albania as a country located in Southeastern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula. This chapter mentions its natural conditions, history, and population. Also important is the knowledge of the economic situation of the country, religion, and individual economic sectors. The second chapter analyzes the foreign trade of Albania, its major trading partners, Albania's membership in international organizations, and the question of entry into the EU. The chapter also deals with mutual relations between the Czech Republic and Albania. Following this chapter is a subchapter with a questionnaire survey conducted among companies in the Czech Republic. The aim of the investigation was to determine whether the companies are aware of Albania, or are interested in business cooperation. The third and final chapter discusses the Albanian culture and its impact on business. Finally, the darker sides of this country are mentioned, including organized crime and child labour.
The impact of implementation of the concept Corporate Social Responsibility and Creating Shared Value on customer behavior at Nestlé Česko, s. r. o.
Krejčová, Jitka ; Plášková, Alena (advisor) ; Novák, Pavel (referee)
This thesis deals with the practical implementation of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Creating Shared Value (CSV) into the business activities of Nestlé Česko, s. r. o. The thesis offers a brief introduction of the two mentioned concepts, their basic principles and implementation process. The application is shown at Nestlé example, this company is devoting to the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Creating Shared Value for a long time. The thesis provides basic overview of the Nestlé activities in this area. In the second half of this paper are presented the results of the own questionnaire about customers behavior, their decisions, their awareness of CSR and CSV and brands of mentioned company. The aim is to determine whether the implementation of these concepts positively affects consumers and customers when purchasing food products of company Nestlé.
Novel conformationally locked nucleosides and nucleotides based on bicyclo[3.2.1]octane scaffold as a pseudosugar moiety
Šála, Michal ; Dejmek, Milan ; Procházková, Eliška ; Hřebabecký, Hubert ; Rybáček, Jiří ; Dračínský, Martin ; Novák, Pavel ; Rosenbergová, Šárka ; Fukal, J. ; Sychrovský, Vladimír ; Rosenberg, Ivan ; Nencka, Radim
A route to a series of novel carbocyclic nucleosides locked in North conformation with bicyclo[3.2.1]octane scaffold was developed. Prepared nucleosides served as a starting material for the synthesis of modified oligomers [d(GCATATCAC), r(GCAUAUCAC), and A9]. Biological effects of the prepared nucleosides as well as the hybridization properties of the appropriate duplexes were evaluated.
Activation of human RNase L by 5’-C-phosphonate-modified oligoadenylates
Petrová, Magdalena ; Buděšínský, Miloš ; Zborníková, Eva ; Panova, Natalya ; Novák, Pavel ; Rosenberg, Ivan
Adeno’sine 5’-(S)-C-phosphonate (pCOHX) was prepared as monomer suitable for oligonucleotide synthesis. Modified tetramers pCOHXAAA and pCOHXAApCOHX were assembled on solid phase and evaluated for their ability to activate human RNase L.
Sulfur-containing phosphonate monomers for oligonucleotide synthesis
Kostov, Ondřej ; Zborníková, Eva ; Buděšínský, Miloš ; Novák, Pavel ; Rosenberg, Ivan
A series of novel compounds, protected S-MOP nucleoside-5’-O-methylphosphonothioates, was prepared as monomers for solid phase synthesis of phosphonothioate oligonucleotides. In addition we have examined the synthetic potential of nucleoside-5’-O-methyl-(H)-phosphinates for phosphonate oligonucleotide assembly.
Oligonucleotides modified with acyclic nucleoside phosphonate (HPEP) units
Kaiser, Martin Maxmilian ; Novák, Pavel ; Rosenbergová, Šárka ; Poštová Slavětínská, Lenka ; Rosenberg, Ivan ; Janeba, Zlatko
Two acyclic nucleoside phosphonates bearing 9-[3-hydroxy-2-(phosphonoethoxy)propyl] (HPEP) moiety and either adenine and thymine as nucleobase were synthetically converted into a suitable building blocks for the subsequent automated solid phase synthesis of modified oligonucleotides. Phosphoramidite chemistry was used for the synthesis of a series of complementary nonamers where the modified acyclic monomers were incorporated using the phosphotriester method. Determination of thermal characteristics of the complexes of the modified nonamers with the complementary strands revealed a destabilizing effect of the introduced acyclic modifications.
Influence of Physicochemical Factors on Gushing Mechanism
Poštulková, Michaela ; Novák, Pavel ; Vitoušová, K. ; Brányik, T. ; Růžička, Marek
Gushing is a negative phenomenon when a foam spontaneously gush out when a bottle or can is opened. Despite a long-term research the gushing still has not been fully explained. The problem of gushing is its seasonal variability, depending on the raw materials and processing technology. In addition, gushing intensity may change over the years. Furthermore, gushing also related to the fact that there is no simple and inexpensive method for measuring. The aim of this work was to find a suitable gushing matrix which could be helpful to study gushing in a new experimental pressure equipment. Simple and inexpensive apparatus was built for the study of overfoaming beer. The valve system (placed on the pressure equipment) control outlet/inlet gas and liquid phase. The pressure and temperature sensors can be also connected to the equipment. It is also possible to regulate the rate of decrease gas pressure above the liquid - the sudden reduction ideally simulates the classic opening beer bottles. A model solution of gushing liquid was created and the influence of the temperature, pressure and pH on the intensity of gushing was measured.
