Proposal of the Information Strategy of a Company

This diploma thesis deals with the information strategy of the company EURPAL Ltd. (spol. s r.o.), whose current strategy seems to be outdated. Thanks to the analysis of the current state and the proposals of usable measures, an improvement in the information strategy of the company should be achieved through the implementation of the information system. The object of this thesis is first to introduce the company and its structure, then to use analyses to identify possible risks and finally propose measures, that can be used to help prevent these risks, or that can at least be used to mitigate their impacts.

Implementation e-commerce for small company

In my bachelor’s paper, I want to concentrate on the problems of e-shops. Commercial utilization of the Internet is advantageous for small and medium enterprise. Every company wanting to maintain its competitive edge should have its Web site and include the Internet into its marketing strategies. A company can choose from several types of e-shops by different providers; thus my paper includes not only the selection of the optimum solution but also the selection of a provider with the most advantageous offer. The aim is to associate the final product with the selected company and to extend and improve it further according to the client’s wishes. In conclusion of my paper, I want to evaluate the positives and negatives of the implementation of the e-shop selected by me; at the same time I assume that the e-shop means a great contribution for the company in a sufficiently long time interval for return on investment.

Structured cabling system design for hotel

This thesis deals with a proposal of structured cabling in a business object of Pentagon Hotel. The proposal addresses the use of horizontal and backbone infrastructure of the building using both metallic and fiber wires. The proposal does not deal with active parts of the network, it addresses just their recommended connection. The thesis also deals with the financial aspect of the proposal in the form of a complete budget.

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of information systems in the selected company. An insight into the issue is given by the characteristics of key concepts and theoretical background. The thesis includes an analysis of the current state of the company. The shortages arising from analytical part are solved in the last part of the thesis as a proposal for changes that will lead to the improvement of the present situation.

The first part includes theoretical basis the second discloses analysis and the last describes suggestions for improvement and innovation, those are designed for innovation of the company system in the future.

This diploma thesis is about a proposal of an information system for the company Smart Connections s.r.o. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts which are theoretical, analytical and proposal part. The aim of this thesis is to analyse current state of the company's information system and to identify its drawbacks and weaknesses. Based on that a proposal of new information system will be made. The last part will focus on benefits and economic evaluation of the new informative system.
