The diploma thesis describes the design of an information system, the key process is the exchange of business procedures of clients between individual employees and their superiors. The implementation of the system should increase the efficiency and improve the provision of services to the company's customers. The work is divided into three main parts, in the first part of the proposal to define the theoretical states, in the second part of the analysis of the current state, processes in and system requirements and the third part of the company describes the process and development of the system.

Information System Selection

My thesis contains description of the selection process of an information system for the company VAŠ hotel B & B Ltd., which runs VV hotel in Brno. The chosen information system aims to improve current processes which leads to increase the number of accommodated persons. The first part of this thesis describes theoretical background, which I implemented in analytical and practical part of this thesis. The following chapter describes the current situation. As a part of this thesis I did analysis of specified budget for the selection of the information system. The last chapter describes the selection of the information system. In this chapter I’ve specified system requirements and described the whole selection process. The end of this thesis, identifies benefits that comes with it, and this chapter also contains an economic evaluation of the entire proposal.

Evaluation and design of performance reporting

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of reporting in a selected department in a selected company and then develops a proposal for a new method of reporting in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. The analytical part is preceded by an extensive theoretical search, which deals with information management in the organization and the essence of reporting applications.

The thesis describes the design and implementation of an information system for a small business company. The thesis includes strategic analyzes of the company and an assessment of the current situation associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. Subsequently, the thesis describes the process of specification and analysis of the requirements of the client, the design and implementation of the system corresponding to the proposals. Finally, the thesis provides the evaluation and expected benefits of the information system.

Supplier Risk Evaluation Using Fuzzy Logic

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of suppliers using fuzzy logic for a selected company. The created model will be used to make efficient and faster decisions about selecting the most suitable supplier for the given orders. Based on the criteria that are important for the selected company, a fuzzy model is created. The final evaluations of the most suitable suppliers are created in MS Excel and MATLAB.

Educational board for STM processors

This work deals with design of educational board for STM32 microcontrollers. This educational board contains basic types of peripherals such as OLED display, EEPROM, LED or seven segment displays. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the STM32F303 processor and the Nucleo-64 development board on which the processor is installed. It describes in particular its properties. In the theoretical part, besides the STM32F303 processor, the individual parts of the educational board are described. The practical part deals with the design of the block diagram, the scheme and the design of the printed circuit board.

This diploma thesis focuses on the company INAT s.r.o., operating in the engineering industry. Focus of the work is to assess the currently used information system and propose appropriate changes to improve it. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part is an overview of the theory of the issue, the second part deals with detailed analyzes of society and the information system, and the last part consists of their own proposals for improving the information system along with economic evaluation.

The appraisal of the current state of the information system is based on the analysis; the change proposals were sumbitted to the employees who are responsible for the operation and development of the information system.
