Internet of Things
Piškula, David ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the Internet of Things and some of the most important problems it faces today. Among these are the overdependence on the Cloud and lack of autonomy, poor security and privacy, complicated initialization and power consumption. The work aims to implement a complex IoT solution that solves the discussed problems. The project is part of a collaboration with NXP Semicondutors and will be used to showcase the company's technologies.
HDR Image Acquisition and Tone-Mapping
Guniš, Erik Anton ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with HDR image acquisition. Describes and solves implementation of acquisition of low dynamic range images and creating of high dynamic range image. It also deals with problem of displaying high dynamic range image. This issue is solved by tone-mapping.
Soccer Team Information System
Vaško, Michal ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create information system. Thesis is focused on users and their interaction with system. Manager of the team has rights to create injury, fine or trainings. Players are allowerd to join the trainings. System contains detail statistics about players and information about team positions in the league table. After match you are allowed to check team squad and the player's statistics from the match. PHP framework version 5.7 and MySQL database were used for the development of the system.
Securing Sensors - How to Provent Falsification
Bernard, Hynek ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on securing digital imaging sensors in cameras and videocameras. Main direction of thesis is study of currently used security procedures and identification of camera sensor based on captured images, tangibly extraction and comparing aproxximated sensor pattern noise with noise residue of given photo. Experiments with real sensors and evaluation of most efficient approach with visions of next research of used methods are part of this thesis.
HDR Image Acquisition on Mobile Devices
Mik, Filip ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with aquisition of high dynamic range images. The resulting HDR image is created by processing of LDR image sequence - by merging and then tone mapping. This thesis includes description of all issues related to the process of acquisition and displaying HDR image. Whole process is then implemented in form of Android application.
Temporal Tone-Mapping Methods for HDR Video
Staněk, Jiří ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
The diploma thesis provides the theoretical background needed to understand the complex topic of high dynamic range, and deals with the implementation of an innovative method for temporal video tone-mapping. At first, high dynamic range image acquisition, storage and processing are described. Afterwards, a general introduction to tone-mapping, description of undesirable image artifacts and an overview of existing state-of-the-art algorithms are presented. The part which follows focuses on the implementation of the chosen method and proposes several additional enhancements of the initially selected algorithm. Based on the information provided, an application with an intuitive graphical interface, which can be used for temporal HDR video tone-mapping, has been created. Finally, the the achieved results are demonstrated and visually compared with existing methods for temporal video tone-mapping.
User interface for drone control using augmented virtuality
Sedlmajer, Kamil ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis evaluates the current possibilities and problems of drone control and suggests possible solutions. The aim is to control drones more efficiently and easily. The final system is based on third person view and Augmented Virtuality technology where real data from the drone (video-stream, localization information) has been integrated into the virtual 3D model of the surroundings. The model of the surroundings has been created using free data. The application provides the pilot with the means to navigate in the surroundings and to navigate to destinations. It also offers the possibility to define areas with various potential security risks during mission planning, which will be used to navigate in the mission zones, and to visualize the overall situation in the virtual scene extended with online real data.
Asymmetric-Key Cryptography in Embedded Systems

Raspberry Pi - Video Control
Bock, Pavol ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this project was to design and implement a video playback controller for the Kodi player. First, existing solutions and products are described and analysed. Based on the analysis a technical product specification is created. Finally, an application is implemented according to this specification. The outcome of the project is a functional application that can be used to control video playback.
