Consolidation and processing of data from a permanent GNSS station CADM
Nosálková, Karolína ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Nosek, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to process and the quality control check of the data from the permanent CADM station. The CADM station is located in the AdMaS research center. The raw observation data from 2018-2021 were converted to the standard RINEX format with a sampling frequency of 10s and 30s. GNSS data quality control was performed using the G-NUT / Anubis program. The daily coordinates of the station were calculated in the Trimble Business Center program with a connection to the nearest EUREF Permanent Network stations. The processing of time series of coordinates and the calculation of the resulting ETRF2000 coordinates were performed using own scripts in the MATLAB programming.
Testbed for virtual commissioning of PLC system
Nosek, Jakub ; Dvorský, Petr (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the creation of a testbed for the virtual commissioning of a PLC system in the Unity environment using the Game4Automation tool, where the simulation will take place. The PLC system will be from Siemens. In the future, a fully functional testbed will simulate the production process and, depending on its behavior, change the parameters of the PLC program or even modify the program itself. Within this work, the main task was to create a suitable data structure and at the same time a functional communication module for connecting the simulation with a future application with an optimization algorithm. We managed to create a functional monitoring of the simulation in its own data structure and a functional sending to the server containing the monitored data, the principle of which guarantees the preservation of all data, regardless of the speed of communication between environments. The simulation monitoring is very detailed and was able to reliably record all collisions with the monitored elements. At the same time, a PLC process program, a redesigned simulation program in Unity and a new REST-API server with a data structure in JSON format were created in this work.
Using of the annotation scale to draw a purpose map in MicroStation
Plisková, Anna ; Nosek, Jakub (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was focused on the use of annotation scale for drawing in MicroStation V8. Annotation scale can be used to draw cells, user lines, texts and dimension styles, and hatching. The main task of the work was to rework the existing library of cells and the library of lines for scale 1: 1000 into a library containing elements of size in millimetres, according to ČSN 01 3411 Large scale maps – Drawings and markers. There was also described how the MicroStation V8 works, when drawing a map in a drawing model using annotation scale – from project creation, uploading the libraries using annotation scale to a new created project, creating the dgnlib control file and task panel, to inserting elements when drawing the map. To check the functionality of the reworked libraries of cells and lines, were used measured data to create a thematic map of the Observatory on Kraví hora in Brno, which was measured in the second year of bachelor’s degree in the subject Mapping I.
Analysis of thermal behavior focused on additive manufacturing of lattice structures from AlSi10Mg
Nosek, Jakub ; Dočekalová, Kateřina (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
Using Additive manufacturing it is possible to manufacture complicated components, that cannot be manufactured using conventional methods. The typical example is the lattice structure. Fabrication of these structures is complicated, and it is different from the fabrication of bulk parts. Using numerical simulation which can reflect process parameters it is possible to analyze the thermal behaviour of vertical and inclined struts fabrication. Results show that the diameter of struts influences weld track width. This influence is caused by preheating the powder material by previous scanning paths. The final geometry of inclined struts is made in more scanning layers. In this work influence of the start and endpoint of trajectory is described.
Precise Real-Time GNSS Positioning Using Different Correction Representation
Nosek, Jakub ; Václavovic, Pavel
The paper deals with the comparison of the Real Time Kinematic (RTK) method and the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) method with fast ambiguity resolution (PPP-RTK). Both methods use different correction models that affect their results. Data from 6 permanent GNSS stations from 28th August 2022 to 30th August 2022 were processed. The results show that the RTK method provides increasingly accurate results (standard deviations of the NEU coordinate components sN = 0.003 m, sE = 0.002 m, sU = 0.006 m). The PPP-RTK method provides slightly worse results (sN = 0.011 m, sE = 0.009 m, sU = 0.028 m). On the other hand, it is more independent of current problems in the network of reference stations.
Testing of SKPOS services
Butkovská, Simona ; Nosek, Jakub (referee) ; Machotka, Radovan (advisor)
Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava (GKÚ) has been providing the Slovak real-time positioning service (SKPOS) since 2006 as a multifunctional tool for precise real-time positioning of objects and phenomena using GNSS. SKPOS offers three basic positioning services, that can be used in real-time or for postprocessing. The work is dedicated to testing the two most frequently used services, the centimeter and millimeter. To test the SKPOS_cm centimeter service, three test measurements were performed on selected SKPOS mountpoints. The centimeter service currently uses exclusively the concept of a virtual reference station, while GKÚ was interested in expanding the service to include the concept of the so-called “nearest reference station”. For that reason, in 2022 GKÚ decided to perform the first test measurements also in the new concept in order to consider its possible future implementation within SKPOS services. In addition to the centimeter service, the SKPOS_mm millimeter service was also tested, which consists in postprocessing. The work is dedicated to SKPOS, the description of the performed test measurements, the analysis and evaluation of the achieved results.
Precise Point Positioning with integer ambiguity resolution
Orviská, Terézia ; Václavovic,, Pavel (referee) ; Nosek, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare the accuracy and time of convegence of the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) method and PPP with an integer ambiguity resolution and to asses the applicability of the PPP method in estimating earthquake magnitudes. The thesis describes the theoretical foundations of GNSS method PPP, important systematic errors and methods for their elimination. Subsequently, the solution to the practical part is presented. The data are processed from the period of 2020 using 14 selected permanent IGS stations. The PPP computation was preceded by a quality control. In the results, the PPP method with integer ambiguity resolution using uncombined observation exhibited the most consistent and accurate results with the fastest convergence. For magnitude estimation, three earthquakes from the Alaska region during the period of 2020-2021 were selected, and four combinations of methods were examined, with the best results once again provided by the PPP method with integer ambiguity resolution using uncombined observations.

3D model of the observatory in Brno
Fodor, Alexander ; Nosek, Jakub (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
The main focus of the diploma thesis was on the creation of georeferenced and textured 3D models. A Canon EOS 6D Mark II, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro mobile phone, and DJI Phantom 3 Advanced drone were used to acquire photogrammetric images. Agisoft Metashape Professional software was used to process the images and create the 3D models. The individual models were connected to the S-JTSK coordinate system and the Bpv elevation system using a survey grid in which the approximate coordinates of the sites were determined by the GNSS method. The measurement network was aligned as a free network. Groma software was used to align the network. The final part of the work includes testing the geometric accuracy of the models using control points and a reference cloud. The ISO-5725-2 standard was used for the analysis of deviations. Another objective of this work was to elaborate a research on current photogrammetric methods and the software used in photogrammetry. The resulting model was published on the sketchfab.com website and printed using a 3D printer.
