NOŽKOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of this bachelor theses is to find out, how social workers working in hospices handle with theories that are used in social work, i.e. if they use theoretical findings or not and if they find these theories important. The theoretical part is connected to practical part and the data, that we obtained, are written into the form of a discussion. At first, the methodology of the research is introduced, the reasons for using a certain theory and paradigms are described, theory classification and individual theories relevant to their focus group are introduced. The theoretical part is focused on social work in palliative care and hospices, where the concept of death and dying, palliative care and hospice care are described. At last, the theses is focused on the role of a social worker in a hospice. The last chapter contains answers to the research questions, which are complemented in the form of a discussion. For finding out this information is used qualitative research, the method of semi-structured interview.
