Shifts planning system in the production company

This master thesis describes the process of implementing a new system planning shifts in a production company. The Value Stream Mapping method was used to evaluate the previous system. The implementation process is split into four phases. MS Project was used to manage the project. Thanks to this process shifts planning time has been decreased by 20 %. Furthermore, the new system allows employees to work more effectively, significantly reduces the human error factor, and automatically satisfies legislative requirements.

Employees' motivation and emloyees' benefits

The subject of this bachelor thesis is analysing methods how to stimulate and motivate employees. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the concept of motivation, concepts close to motivation and selected existing theories of motivation. It also deals with employee benefits, function, division and benefits which are frequently offered to employees. The practical part of the thesis, mainly based on written and online questionnaires, concentrates on motivation of employees at Nedcon Bohemia, s.r.o. The aim of this thesis is to analyse what motivation means and to assess its impact on employees' motivation, job performance and satisfaction.
