Nedvědová, Michaela ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor) ; Millerová, Ivana (referee)
This master thesis is a description of the clinical trial, which is part of medical law un- der the law aspects. This thesis is split to topic, whose a brief outline is in the introduction. Process of the clinical trial and their institutions are discussed under the law and medical aspects. Resources of this thesis are a professional literature, knowledge of experts from pharmaceutical company and my own experience from part-time job in this type of com- panies. Aim of the thesis is to bring more resources and information about that topic to experts and other people who are interested in. This thesis is devided into five chapters. First chapter is speaking about a general insti- tute in the clinical trial. There are listed sources of the law. In the next chapter I deal with the process of the clinical trial from the begining i.e. from the development of a new sub- stance through the clinical trial to the final registration. The chapter about the european law regulation is following. In the fourth chapter I deal with the ethical aspects, which are conected with clinical trial. In that part I emphasised the influence of the international ethical documents. The last chapter is conclusion, where I describe the goal of this master thesis and also I am linking to the opinions of authorities regarding the...
Activities of nonprofit organizations focused on education
Nedvědová, Michaela ; Tomšíková, Kateřina (advisor)
The goal of this final bachelor s work is to map the position of public libraries (as significant representatives of non-profit organisation) and their activities in adult education. The theoretical part deals with the need of lifelong learning in contemporary society, introduces documents that belong to the base of work domain of public libraries and the concepts of public libraries for the next period. It zooms in on the current activities of libraries in adult education, options for different activities in libraries in adult education in contemporary society. The practical part focuses on Municipal Library of Prague and its educational activities for adults. I was allowed to do my practise work there, participate in some events and conduct a survey, that became basis for an educational program for adults. Sources: Beneš, Milan. IntactTM BLES (breast lesion excision system) and the radiology assistant role in the introducing new instruments into the practice
NEDVĚDOVÁ, Michaela
The Intact BLES (Breast Lesion Excision System) system is a new radiological method belonging to the area of radiological intervention on the female mammary gland generally called mammotome. These performances in radiology belong to the most modern and their development has been observed during the last 10 years. Mammotome primary task is to obtain larger representative tissue samples from suspicious location in the breast while there are 15 tissue samples taken in average. After about 10 years we proceed from this type of repeated simple mechanical tissue removal, even in the presence of vacuum, to a new mammotome method. This is a simple one-time tissue removal using radiofrequency energy. Also this process uses a vacuum, although in this case vacuum is only used for gases and liquids extraction from the location immediately adjacent to the sampling area and thereby to retain the correct parameters during cauterization. Compared to the older type of performance that takes a much shorter time and is much better tolerated by patients. But the greatest advantage of this method is the possibility to capture the whole breast lesion up to diameter 2 cm bearing size. Bachelor thesis contain a detailed description of the new methods and radiology assistant tasks, breast interventions statistical data from the archive MOÚ (Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute) and also data from the regular interventional breast examinations, which are a common radiology assistant work. Drawing up these bachelor thesis there were also Czech and foreign literature resources, scientific publications and magazines including Internet sources used. I was looking up for primarily technical specifics and partly physical laws relating to the new device IntactTM BLES. The study included women examined in Brno Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in the period of February 2012 - July 2012, which were diagnosed suspicious discovery with subsequent recommendations for its mammotome removal.
