Evaluation of the Economy of Selected Municipality

The bachelor's thesis focuses on defining the role of municipality in the public administration of the Czech Republic and its budget managament. Theoretical backgrounds are described in the first part. In the analytical part it deals with an evaluation of the economy of selected municipality Rozsochatec during the years from 2012 to 2016 using specific analysis. At the end there are the possible improvements to the current situation.

The bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of the economy of a selected public sector organization, which is the Observatory and Planetarium Brno, contributory organization. The first part of the thesis contains objectives and methods of processing. The second part provides the theoretical basis, followed by the third analytical part. This includes basic information about the selected organization, cost-benefit analysis and subsequently modified financial analysis. The next part is devoted to the economic evaluation based on the results of the analyzed analyzes, on the basis of which are presented suggestions and recommendations for improvement the organization's performance.

The practical part deals with the analysis of costs, revenues and fundraising activities of a selected non-profit organization. At the end of the thesis there are proposed new sources of financing, which the organization has not used so far.

In the theoretical part of the thesis, there is described the issue of non-profit organizations and fundraising. In the practical part of the thesis, there is carried out an analysis of the current economy and fundraising activities of selected non-profit organization – Diakonie Českobratrské církve evangelické – středisko Betlém, which provides social services to people with severe disabilities. Subsequently, the findings are evaluated. In conclusion, on the basis of these findings, there are proposed new possibilities for obtaining financial resources, the implementation of which would be beneficial for the organization.

Analysis of Promoting Tourism as a Specific Tools of Regional Policy of Region

My thesis deals with the system of support of the regional level in the context of the contemporary concept of regional policy, which accents the component of the competitive ability. The target of my thesis is to show on the connection between the implemented support of tourism development and the competitive ability of a region in the form of the case study for two selected Czech regions. To the achieving of the target is used the method of comparison of two analysed regional politics subjects and also modified the method of economics n--angle. This method researches the procedural level of the selected criteria for the selected regions during a period of time. The result of this analysis is the comparison of the competitive ability and the evaluation of the regions using graphic presentation with the average of the Czech Republic.
