Methodology for ex situ conservation of the gene pool of endangered annual wetland herbs of mineral-poor substrates
Navrátilová, Jana ; Navrátil, Josef
The aim of this specialised methodology is to provide an overview of the requirements of the species listed below in nature, including their distribution and the causes of their threat. The aim is to provide botanical gardens with information on detailed cultivation requirements obtained during the research of the project and many years of experience with their possession in the Botanical Garden Třeboň, which will enable long-term ex situ conservation of critically and severely endangered species of wet mineral-poor substrates: Coleanthus subtilis, Centunculus minimus, Cyperus michelianus, Illecebrum verticillatum, Juncus capitatus, Juncus tenageia, Lindernia procumbens, Pseudognaphalium luteoalbum, Radiola linoides, Spergularia echinosperma and Tillaea aquatica.\n
Methodology for ex situ conservation of the gene pool of endangered annual wetland herbs of mineral-rich substrates
Navrátilová, Jana ; Navrátil, Josef
The aim of this specialised methodology is to provide an overview of the requirements of the species listed below in nature, including their distribution and the causes of their threat. To provide botanical gardens and nature conservation staff with information on the detailed cultivation requirements obtained during the project research and many years of experience with their possession in the Botanical Garden Třeboň, which will enable long-term ex situ conservation of partial populations of critically and severely endangered species of wet mineral-rich substrates: Bupleurum tenuissimum, Crypsis aculeata, Crypsis schoenoides, Cyperus flavescens, Samolus valerandi, Spergularia media and Tripolium pannonicum subsp. pannonicum.
Analýza kvality stravování ve školní jídelně mateřské školy a ověření možností zlepšení vybraných ukazatelů spotřebního koše (omega 3 MK, antioxidační zdroje, vláknina)
NAVRÁTIL, Josef
The diploma thesis deals with the issue and analysis of the quality of catering in the school canteen of kindergartens. The topic of the diploma thesis is to find out whether the studied commodities (fiber, omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants) correspond to the standards and legislation that apply to school canteens. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of preschool children and their development. This section describes the importance of nutrition in the preschool period with a focus on reference and nutritional values, consumer basket, financial standards and legislation that school canteens must follow. The practical part analyses the fulfilment of the consumer basket in kindergartens. This section discusses in detail how the selected commodities are represented in the consumer basket. The work is focused on the proportion of fiber, omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants, especially the representation of vegetables, fruits, legumes, potatoes and fish serving. According to the results, it is clear that school canteens fill the consumer basket at the lower end of the tolerance. Subsequently appropriate recommendations were proposed to improve the identified shortcomings, which mainly concern the increase in the consumption of fruit, vegetables and potatoes. Surprising results have been found for legumes and fish commodities. Their consumption reached more than 100 percent of the standard set by the consumer basket.

Rigorous electromagnetic theory of the optical response of periodic nanostructures
Navrátil, Josef ; Antoš, Roman (advisor) ; Richter, Ivan (referee)
The diffraction of light is an important phenomenon with wide physical and engineering appli- cations and diffraction gratings are optical components with a periodic structure which are used to diffract light into several beams propagating in various directions. Direct methods like AFM or SEM proved to be insufficient to study the shape of planar diffraction gratings and therefore they must be supplemented with results obtained from optical spectroscopy. Computer simulations are the integral part of this method. This Thesis is focused on two particular simulation methods - the RCWA and the C-Method. It gives a rich theoretical introduction, discusses the weaknesses of these methods and also describes improvements of the RCWA using the Airy-like series and proper Fourier factorization. Both methods are implemented, tested on simple examples and af- terwards the convergence for particular cases is investigated. The C-Method and the modified RCWA algorithm exhibit excellent convergence. At the end, the numeric results are compared with experiments, giving a very good agreement in the ellipsometric parameters. 1

Create a list of alternative methods of treatment of diseases
NAVRÁTIL, Josef
The work provides a brief look at the best known alternative methods of disease treatments. It deals with alternative medicine as well as with the quality of contemporary medicine considering the current situation in the our country. The work provides an overview of the areas of a human life affecting the healthy lifestyle, starting with food and physical or mental relaxation to treating already existing health problems.
Příčiny a důsledky odlišného tempa nominální konvergence v zemích Visegradu
Navrátil, Josef
Navrátil, J. Causes and consequences of different course of nominal convergence in Visegrad states. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. This thesis analyzed the nominal convergence in the Visegrad countries from 1989 - 2013. The nominal convergence is considered as Maastricht convergence criteria, inflation and comparative price levels in particular countries. These values are compared to the average of the eurozone or the European Union. The results indicate that although the countries are very similar, they show different results in the convergence criteria fulfilment and the price levels development. There is a discussion concerning euro acceptance in these countries at the end of the thesis.
Bullying prevention in non-profit organizations working with children and youth in their free time from the Vysočina region
NAVRÁTIL, Josef
My bachelor thesis is aimed at prevention of bullying. The exact title of the thesis is: Bullying Prevention in Non-Profit Organisations Working with Children and Young People in Their Free Time in the Region of Vysočina. The goal of the thesis was to map the issue of bullying prevention in the organisations providing leisure-time activities for children and youth in the region of Vysočina. At this time, bullying, aggressive behaviour, socially pathological phenomena, bullying prevention, primary prevention programmes, leisure time and non-profit organisations are described. The qualitative research was used for the purposes of the thesis and the data were collected via semi-standardised interviews. The research set S1 consisted of non-profit organisations working with children and youth in their free time and the research set S2 was composed of non-profit organisations offering prevention programmes. The research has suggested that some of the respondents are not able to define the notion of bullying precisely and that all non-governmental non-profit organisations (hereinafter referred to as the ``NNOs{\crqq}) addressed have been trying to deal with the issue of bullying on their own. They do not cooperate with any experts or any other person in the majority of cases. They are not interested in prevention programmes for children. Further, the research has suggested that those organisations offering prevention programmes do not endeavour to create programmes for non-profit organisations very much, too. They would be able to do so only if the NNOs working with children and youth were interested. Moreover, the research has suggested that the reason for such an attitude is the matter of will and financial means being of the highest importance nowadays. On the basis of the research results, it can be stated that the offer of prevention activities is sufficient in the region of Vysočina; especially in the areas of Třebíč, Jihlava and Žďár. On the basis of the results obtained, a proposal for bullying prevention in the non-profit organisations working with children and youth in their free time in the region of Vysočina will be prepared and provided to these organisations.
