Life cycle costs of construction project

This thesis deals with the life-cycle cost of construction project. In the theoretical part the life cycle of buildings associated with the construction projects and each construction costs. The practical part is described the construction of 18 housing units in the village Zbýšov during the whole life cycle of the building. There are cost items defined in the development of the building from its beginning to its expected closure phase. In conclusion, the costs are discussed in more detail, analyzed and compared to a likewise a model project.

In my bachelor thesis I provide draft business plan for a small business. For the purpose of this work I chose a plumbing company. This company operates on a basis of an individual ownership and keeps tax records. In the suggested business plan, I will try to take into consideration today's economic environment and find the answer to whether it is beneficial to transfer from the current form of individual ownership business to the company with limited liability, ie an individual ownership to a legal entity, or not.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of work-life balance of employees and especially managers in a chosen company. The theoretical part is about issues of gender, factors influencing managers’ careers and possibilities of work-life balance. In the practical part, there is an analysis of a present situation in a company. On the basis of theoretical findings, analysis of company’s documents, a questionnaire and interviews with chosen employees, there will be made some suggestions for improving a present situation in a company. There will be also a financial evaluation of new steps as a part of final suggestion.

This thesis Advantages and disadvantages of educating pupils with intellectual disabilities in independently established classes at elementary school deals with the issue of classes established according to Section 16, paragraph 9 of the School Act at elementary schools, specifically their advantages and disadvantages from the perspective of special education. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical part and the part of the own research investigation. The theoretical part is dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities, education of pupils with intellectual disabilities, and the collaboration between the school and the family of pupils with intellectual disabilities. The own research was conducted through qualitative investigation in the form of semi- structured interviews with twelve respondents. The part of the own research focuses on methodology, presentation of research data, main findings, discussion and recommendations for practice. Aneta Křivánková Title: Occupational therapy in the rehabilitation of patients after fracture of the distal radius and hand Abstract: This is a theoretical-practical work. The theoretical part briefly describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the upper limb with a focus on the hand and wrist, and then presents a summary of the most common fractures in this body part. The last and the longest chapter is about the possibilities of occupational therapy for patients fractures of the distal radius and hand, especially in the period after removal of fixation. Occupational therapy has a very wide application for these patients. Functional disorders of the hand and wrist, which are a frequent complication of fracture treatment, are often closely related to the limitation of self-sufficiency and have a great impact on the patient's quality of life. Martina Havlová Title: Solving respiratory dysfunctions caused by long Covid using combination of physiotherapeutic tools and yoga principles Abstract: This thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy intervention combined with the principles of yoga in patients with long Covid with respiratory dysfunctions. The theoretical part contains a comprehensive overview of the issues of long Covid. It deals with its terminology, epidemiology, risk factors, and multisystem clinical symptoms. Furthermore, this thesis focuses on the treatment of long Covid and the possibilities of physiotherapeutic intervention, mainly through respiratory physiotherapy. Selected exercises and techniques of respiratory physiotherapy as well as selected yoga positions and techniques suitable for dealing with long Covid are described in more detail. Petra Nováková Title: The influence of mobility on self-sufficiency of patients after proximal femur fracture This thesis deals with proximal femur fractures and their impact on self-sufficiency and mobility of patients with this diagnosis. This trauma is very common, and because of the increasing incidence, high morbidity and mortality, negative impact on self-sufficiency and quality of life and high economic cost, it is a worldwide problem that needs to be solved. An important part of taking care of these patients is rehabilitation which includes physiotherapy. The thesis has got two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes the characteristics of proximal femur fractures and describes their influence on the mobility and the relation between mobility and self-sufficiency. The practical part includes 3 case studies of patients with the diagnosis of a proximal femur fracture.
