Moral Reasoning of People with Mild intellectual Disability

The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyse the moral reasoning of people with mild intellectual disability, as well as to find out their understanding of more abstract terms of the moral domain, what the principle of their deciding is, and which values are important for them. In the first part, the thesis concentrates on the influence of the intellectual disability on the cognitive, emotional and personality aspects of the subjects. It also introduces several theories of the moral development, moral structure and values, and finally, the thesis presents the outcomes of the foreign research focused on the moral reasoning of people with intellectual disability. In six case studies in the empirical part, the thesis demonstrates the moral reasoning of people with mild intellectual disability, who have been respondents of exploratory interviews. In the concluding part, the thesis attempts to find some identical significant moments which might be characteristic of moral reasoning of people with mild intellectual disability, and put them into the context of other research and theories.
Options of leisure activities and offers for pupils from the special elementary school in the Districts of Nymburk and Kolin

This diploma thesis is focused on leisure activities for children with moderate and severe mental retardation. The theoretical framework demonstrates the degrees of mental retardation, and in addition, integration and inclusion issues in education are discussed. This part of the diploma thesis acquaints with potential leisure centres and presents various forms of leisure activities for children with moderate and severe mental retardation. The practical application part identifies specific leisure activity options and in a collaboration with leisure centres it provides a comprehensive overview of leisure activities for children with moderate and severe mental retardation in Kolin and Nymburk region. It also captures parental interest in these leisure activities.
Problematic situations from the perspective of a teacher assistant in terms of his profession

An author of a diploma theses is interested in problematic situations of an assistant pedagogue's profession. The theses is devided in two parts- teoretical and practical. The teoretical part introduces to readers a czech education system and an inclusive education. Subsequent parts deal with an assistant's work, a personality and a cooperation with a school management, teachers, students with special needs and their parents. In this chapter we can find main problems of an origin of problematic situations. In last two chapters the author shows the most problematic situations and possibilities of a prevention against problematic situations even not just for the assistant. In the practical part there is a metodology and characterictics of the research. The author used the quality research especially the combination of a questionnaire and an interview. The main aim of the theses is to describe problematic situations of the assistant pedagogue's in his profession. The partial aim of the theses are: to find out the potential impact of the conflict on human health and suggest solution how to prevent problematic situations in assistants' job. Communication between the School and Families of pupils from ethnic Minorities

The topic of the thesis is communication between the school and families of pupils from ethnic minorities. Theoretical part deals with communication in general first, explains the concept of communication, describes social and pedagogical communication and basis of communication. It is also focusing on communicants, communication situations, types of communication and effective communication. The next part focuses on intercultural communication, intercultural competences and intercultural relations. It also describes basic terms such as group, culture, ethnicity, ethnic identity, ethnic consciousness, nation, nationality, national and ethnic minority, describes pupils who live in different living conditions and different cultural environment, pupil foreigner, pupil with different native language and legislative. Last part deals with the cultural specifics of national minorities and closer introduces Vietnamese, Russian, Ukrainian and Roma national minorities. Forms of Educational Activation in Adults People with Autistic Spectrum Disorders

The diploma thesis discusses autism phenomenon in terms of education and educational activation for adults. The whole text is divided into two imaginary parts. The first part deals with understanding of the term autism itself. It also talks about the reversal in handicap perception regarding integration and inclusion. The last point of this part is philosophical reflection of importance of positive attitude to the issue, and also contemplation of practical possibilities in implementation of education and educational activation. In the other - empiric - part the thesis focuses on qualitative research strategy, which explores possible ways of education and educational activation of adult autists using observation and interviews. The research was carried out in Maxov Home in the Jizera mountains and the participants were ten assistants who are key persons to autism service users. The examined clients are users of services provided by Home for Disabled People and Special Regime Home. As methods for the research was used observation of activities performed by the clients in cooperation with their key assistants, and semi-structured interviews which were based on the observed activity. Barriers to education for children from socially excluded localities from their parents point of view

Diploma thesis deals with pupils from socially excluded localities and their education. The theoretical part defines the term socially excluded locality and deals with distinctive features that influence the situation of people living here. The Roma minority, which is often associated with social exclusion, is also characterised, and unfortunately is still frequently represented in socially excluded localities. The main topic is a socially disadvantaged pupil, their needs and current educational opportunities are taken into account. Special attention is given to Roma children and pupils with regard to cultural and ethnic specifics. The practical part is processed in the form of 12 case studies describing individual families from socially excluded localities and their attitude to children's education. The main objective of the research was to identify barriers that influence the education of their children from the parents' point of view. Partial objectives focus on other circumstances that families may have to limit access to school in relation to their social situation. Education of pupils in the Jedlička Institute and Schools

This diploma thesis "Education of Pupils at Jedlička Institute and Schools" contains information about physically disabled pupils. The aim of the diploma thesis was to discover the needs and methods of physically disabled pupils' education. The research was focused on what teaching methods, didactic tools, compensation aids and other means and access to pupils are used by teachers at primary school. The diploma thesis includes an analysis of an asset of Jedlička Institute and Schools. The research uses the following methods: structured interviews with teachers and participant observation at primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis comprises kinds of physical disability, combined disability, Jedlička Institute and Schools and information about education of physically disabled pupils and pupils with combined disability. The practical part of the thesis deals with an interaction between pupils and teachers, with cerebral palsy, teaching methods and pupils' needs.
