Proposal for an Employee Assessment System
Němec, Jiří ; Jelínková, Martina (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
Master´s thesis analyzes problems associated with the employee classification of a business company. It suggests the evulating system strategy which, if respectfully followed, would lead to better execution of employee, teams and whole company and at the same time to a stronger market position and to a riddance of the weaker competition.
Possibilities of using modern methods in manufacturing of prototype castings
Němec, Jiří ; Kosour, Vojtěch (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
An overview of the most suitable RP technologies for making rapid casting prototypes is the target of this thesis.
Finding Specific Secondary Structures in DNA Sequences
Němec, Jiří ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on analyse and design an algorithm for searching specific structure in DNA sequences, especially for detection of quadruplexes. Work objective is to design and implement an effective application with linear time complexity. Work includes description of searching and used algorithms including their complexity.
Possibilities of using modern methods in manufacturing of prototype castings
Maincl, David ; Němec, Jiří (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
Rapid prototyping is a set of technologies , which is an essential part of modern foundry industry . It allows you to shorten the time between demand and fabrication of prototype parts. The aim of this work is to develop a literature search focused on the application of these technologies in the foundry manufacturing of prototype castings.
Business Plan for Creation of Nursery Garden
Neubauerová, Mirka ; Němec, Jiří (referee) ; Bartoš, Vojtěch (advisor)
The new company will provide complete and long-term services regarding child sitting of pre-school children, while their parents are at work or taking part in social or cultural activities. It will also offer short-term child sitting including walking the children to their interest groups or language classes. Professional child sitters and students of the teacher college of the Masaryk University Brno guarantee high quality services. The price strategy of the agency is based on high quality and comprehensive services and the added value of a high number of professional personnel. A high level of business culture and innovation are the main points describing the company attitude. It will be looking for colleagues with new ideas and closely collaborate with the teacher college.
Deficiencies and inaccuracies in measurement of MV distribution network laboratory model
Němec, Jiří ; Vyčítal, Václav (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The paper analyzes the deficiencies and inaccuracies in measurement of medium voltage distribution network laboratory model. The aim is to propose solution to these problems. In the second chapter, basics of the theory of medium voltage network and the operating parameters of distribution grids are described. The theoretical part is mainly based on the Czech technical standards. The third chapter focuses on description of the laboratory model and it contains its label values. The fourth chapter deals with executed measurements and mathematical models created in the program PSCad. Comparison of the measurements and the computer simulations is included. Description of the measurements contains its purpose, the measured parameters and results of the measurements. Input parameters for creating computer simulations are listed and their results are processed. In response to measurements, yet unknown parameters of the laboratory model and its behavior in various operational states are clarified. On the basis of the findings, which this paper brings, it is possible to modify the laboratory exercise and thus reach more accurate results.
Moving Objects Detection in Video Sequences
Němec, Jiří ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods for the detection of people and tracking objects in video sequences. An application for detection and tracking of players in video recordings of sport activities, e.g. hockey or basketball matches, is proposed and implemented. The designed application uses the combination of histograms of oriented gradients and classification based on SVM (Support Vector Machines) for detecting players in the picture. Moreover, a particle filter is used for tracking detected players. The whole system was fully tested and the results are shown in the graphs and tables with verbal descriptions.
Illumination with respect to biological functions
Němec, Jiří ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The paper summarizes the basic light-technical parameters, the principles of visual and non-visual photoreceptions and the effects of light on the organism. Several chapters focus on the mechanism by which light affects hormone levels and the circadian rhytm of the organism. In relation to the lighting system, the impact of electromagnetic radiation, associated with the controls, on the body is also considered. Briefly described are systems based on smart LED light sources or smart switches. The result of the thesis is to choose the solution that best suits the requirements of the contracting authority.
Life Insurance as a Source of Income at Retirement Age
Ertlová, Alena ; Němec, Jiří (referee) ; Řezáč, František (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the main characteristics of life insurance and its importance as a means of income at retirement age. The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of selected environmental insurance products according to preselected parameters on model examples. Best selected product will be further compared with the product of supplementary pension of a specific insurance subject. At the very end, I focus on evaluating the results and drawing appropriate recommendations for fictitious clients to dispose of a certainamount of retirement funds.
Increasing of mechanical properties of aluminium castings made by lost wax technology
Němec, Jiří ; Cileček, Jarmil (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is concerned with improving the mechanical properties of aluminium castings produced using investment casting technology by HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing). Comparing the mechanical properties of separately casted test bars and integrally casted test bars for individual types of production. It was demonstrated that HIP technology has a positive effect on mechanical properties of castings, especially for ductility.
