Additivity of Chain-Ladder method for projection of technical provisions in non-life insurance

This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of additivity of projections obtained by the Chain Ladder method in the corresponding cumulative development triangles. The reader first gets acquainted with the Chain Ladder method itself and then one presents basic theoretical insights concerning the additivity of projections and the related projection inequality. It also discusses practical interpretation, which it demonstrates us- ing real reinsurance data. Moreover, standard errors of projections in triangles are briefly described in a separate chapter using basic theory of probability and applied in the given numerical study. 1

Rodinný dům ve Žďáru nad Sázavou

Bachelor thesis solves the design of single-storey family house without basement with residential attic. The house is located on a particular plot in the town of Žďár nad Sázavou. The introductory text part is devoted to the issue of living space, the requirements of the spatial plan for new buildings and the construction of frame wooden structures. The practical part is focused on the layout, spatial and structural solution of frame wooden buildings using agglomerated materials. Part of the work is the assessment of the proposed compositions, especially the calculation of the thermal permeability of the building envelope, the ceiling above the attic and the roof sheath. The output is then processed drawing documentation with the calculation of the approximate price of the building according to the uniform classification of building objects.

The Case of Rudolf Barák in the Media in the Period of Prague Spring

Bachelor thesis "The Case of Rudolf Barak in the Media of the Prague Spring" deals with the liberalization of the media in 1968 in Czechoslovakia and demonstrates this on a media affair of former Interior Minister Rudolf Barak. It describes reform trends and their consequences in the political and media spheres during the sixties, political and social changes, major adjustments in media legislation and changes in the media organization, rehabilitation processes with political prisoners. It summarizes the major events that shaped the career of Rudolf Barak, his work in the Communist Party and the Ministry of the Interior, his struggle for power, his arrest, investigation and imprisonment, and finally his release and efforts for rehabilitation. This thesis analyses media contents of three representative printed periodicals from this period and evaluates media coverage of the process with Rudolf Barak in 1962 and of his release from prison in 1968, it also compares the media image of Rudolf Barak in selected periodicals.
