Evaluation of satisfaction with maternal and child care in a perinatology centre - cultural differences

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the quality of care provided in a perinatology centre from the perspective of women after childbirth. The aim of this study is to find out how satisfaction with the care provided varies according to the culture of the woman. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the concept of perinatology centres, the quality and evaluation of the care provided, followed by the satisfaction of expectant mothers. Finally, the theoretical part includes a chapter on multicultural care, cultural minorities and multicultural communication. In my practical part I have processed the results of standardized questionnaires of the perinatology centre of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague. The survey highlights the main indicators of satisfaction with the care provided and cross-cultural differences in the perception of the quality of care. Women of other nationalities were also included in the survey and were given questionnaires in their native language to highlight cross-cultural differences in satisfaction with the care provided. Hyperlocal Media in the Czech Republic

The aim of this master's thesis is to introduce hyperlocal media in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, the topic of hyperlocal media will be presented from the viewpoint of professional and citizen-journalism, user-generated content, participatory culture, role of watchdog and civic engagement. This thesis will also provide a definition and specification of hyperlocal media, circumstance of origin, their position, financial site and their future. Furthermore, another part of this thesis will also introduce some of the external projects, whereas the practical part will carefully examine fourteen hyperlocal media bodies in the Czech Republic; one medium of each region of the Czech Republic respectively. Specifically, the analysis is aimed towards graphical editing and thematical structure of hyperlocal media. The second practical part offers qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with the creators of the investigated hyperlocal media. The subjects of the interviews are primarily from the point of view of motivation, financial site, position and future of hyperlocal media. The awareness of the harmfulness of smoking during pregnancy from the midwieves's point of view

This bachelor thesis focuses on smoking during pregnancy and the issues connected therewith. It concerns with the level of knowledge the midwives and gynaecological nurses have about the negative effects of smoking during pregnancy. It also focuses on the quality of anti-smoking intervention given to future mothers - smokers and non-smokers. The theoretical part summarises general knowledge about the negative effects of smoking. The following chapters investigate the problems that may be caused by smoking during pregnancy and describe the effects it has on the mother and her fetus. In the end of the theoretical part it suggests possible ways and support to give up smoking. The practical part of the thesis englobes results from the qualitative method that was chosen which consists in the observation of midwives and gynaecological nurses while working with a pregnant woman. The second part of this method is a semi structured interview, with eight supplementary questions. The evaluation of these questions shows the midwives' knowledge about the undesirable effects of smoking during pregnancy, their attitude towards anti-smoking intervention and information which could help them achieve an easier and more effective way of persuading future mothers to quit smoking. Creation and application of methodology for evaluating quality of data migration

The main goal of this theses is to create useful methodology for data migration assessment, especially assess the quality of execution. Data migration projects are often mentioned topic but the way of assessment in the literature is missing. Methodology is based on existing information, methodologies and processes and the expert experience is included. As a part of the methodology was the tool for the evaluation which is universally applicable for various projects. Data migration process was for this purpose divided into individual activities that contain processes and their criteria, which help assess the fulfillment of the processes. This tool works by assigning weights to each criteria according which are all the processes evaluated. All the criteria should be scored by expert evaluator, who should have knowledge in the data migration area. Part of this work is also an application of methodology for the real project Implementation of new Core banking system (CBS). Based on the results and their interpretation some recommendations were made. These recommendation should improve quality of data migration.

The main objective of the thesis is to describe and assets financial situation. It is divided into two parts, that the first, theoretical part, presents the main point of financial analysis, its purpose, sources of data and the methods of computation. In the practical section will be described results of each part of the financial analysis in the period between 2007 and 2011. The horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio indicators also analysis of working capital and bankruptcy and credibility models will be used.
